About This Opportunity

Working as part of the UQ Temps casual talent pool, you will support teams across the University to deliver high-quality administrative and operational outcomes. These roles are varied and fast-paced, offering exposure to different functions and stakeholders across UQ’s vibrant community.

Your responsibilities may vary depending on the role but can include:

  • Managing calendars, coordinating meetings and arranging travel

  • Supporting committees and meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking

  • Maintaining administrative systems and managing competing priorities

  • Conducting research and data analysis to support projects and reporting

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner

  • Assisting with website updates and development using Drupal (for relevant roles)

About You

We are looking for adaptable and motivated professionals who bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in administration, business support or executive assistance

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

  • Flexibility and a willingness to support a range of teams and functions

  • A sound understanding of administrative systems and processes

  • Experience with Drupal or web development (for web-focused opportunities)
