We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a range of casual opportunities, including:
General Administration
Executive Assistant support
Student and Academic Administration
Research Administration
Junior Web Development
Working as part of the UQ Temps casual talent pool, you will support teams across the University to deliver high-quality administrative and operational outcomes. These roles are varied and fast-paced, offering exposure to different functions and stakeholders across UQ’s vibrant community.
Your responsibilities may vary depending on the role but can include:
Managing calendars, coordinating meetings and arranging travel
Supporting committees and meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking
Maintaining administrative systems and managing competing priorities
Conducting research and data analysis to support projects and reporting
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
Assisting with website updates and development using Drupal (for relevant roles)
We are looking for adaptable and motivated professionals who bring:
Demonstrated experience in administration, business support or executive assistance
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
Flexibility and a willingness to support a range of teams and functions
A sound understanding of administrative systems and processes
Experience with Drupal or web development (for web-focused opportunities)
