Develop and support customer-facing web and mobile applications using modern front-end and mobile technologies. Translate product requirements into scalable experiences, integrate APIs and platform services, write tested and secure code, support releases, monitor production systems, resolve incidents, and influence architecture and engineering practices. Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, backend, QA, and platform teams while mentoring developers and owning technical delivery.

Develop and maintain Python backend applications, APIs, integrations, and automation for high-volume travel platforms. Responsibilities include translating requirements into scalable software, improving reliability and performance, writing tests, participating in code reviews, supporting CI/CD and deployments, troubleshooting production incidents, and contributing to architecture and technical decisions. Senior-level contributors will also mentor developers and influence system design.

Provide end-to-end travel support across voice, email, WhatsApp and chat. Resolve complex ticketing (reissues, refunds, exchanges), manage NDC and GDS bookings, liaise with airlines/suppliers, ensure compliance, minimise ADM exposure, meet SLAs and KPIs, and support process improvement and training.

Develop and maintain backend systems for airline integrations, payment gateways, APIs and microservices. Design and modify modules, write unit/integration tests, perform code reviews, maintain technical documentation, participate in scrum and sprint planning, collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP), provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers, and contribute to system architecture and problem resolution.

Lead and manage IT infrastructure and operations across cloud and on-prem environments. Ensure security, compliance (PCI DSS, POPIA, NIST), high availability, disaster recovery, vendor management, and a high-performing IT team aligned with business objectives.
