11-week Origination Internship where interns learn commodity purchasing, build producer customer relationships, analyze local market trends, support risk management, collaborate with logistics and accounting, and lead a summer project to present recommendations to leadership.

Buy commodities from producer customers, manage and grow producer relationships, execute purchase contracts, use risk management and digital tools (ScoularView, Power BI, CTRM), coordinate with logistics, accounting, and facility staff, ensure trade finance limits and contract compliance, support regenerative agriculture initiatives, attend crop tours and trade shows, and identify new producers to grow the network.

Lead regional grain origination by developing producer relationships, executing purchase contracts, leveraging risk management and digital tools, coordinating logistics and freight, mentoring originator staff, and driving market share and cost-efficient purchasing while supporting regenerative agriculture initiatives.

Purchase grain from producer customers, maintain and grow producer relationships, execute and reconcile purchase contracts, provide market information, support daily purchasing operations, and coordinate with logistics, accounting, merchandisers, and plant staff to maximize efficiencies.

Collect, verify, and assemble export/import shipping documents (e.g., phytosanitary certificates, bills of lading, letters of credit). Coordinate with merchants, logistics, banks, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely, accurate documentation for cargo clearance and payment.

Lead safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the Jerome feed mill. Manage production, maintenance, logistics, and third-party partners; align operations with commercial strategy; own site P&L; drive throughput, yield, uptime, and cost improvements; ensure regulatory and food safety compliance; develop site talent and cross-functional alignment to meet customer and financial objectives.
