Coordinate development and launch of new behavioral health programs: design clinical programs, build and supervise program teams, conduct orientations, collaborate with start-up staff, corporate departments, and funding/regulatory agencies. Direct medical treatment for behavioral health program members within psychiatrist licensure. Lead and communicate with program staff and members, ensure high-quality medical practices, and meet licensure, payer, client, and community standards. The role is onsite Monday through Friday for full-time employment or two days weekly for part-time employment.

Serves as a strategic HR partner for multi-site behavioral health programs across Washington. Advises leaders on employee relations, performance management, policy application, engagement, retention, compliance, risk, and workforce decisions. Builds relationships through regional site visits, facilitates leadership discussions and training, and collaborates with Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, leave administration, training, and People Analytics teams.

Provides strategic leadership for the enterprise clinical quality management program. Oversees accreditation readiness, CARF and Joint Commission surveys, quality improvement, adverse and sentinel event investigations, clinical risk management, regulatory compliance, policies, dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting. Supervises Clinical Quality Managers, leads multi-site initiatives, supports corrective action plans, develops staff, and collaborates with senior and regional leadership. Requires 50% travel and use of a personal vehicle.

Supervised internship providing direct and indirect mental health services—individual/group rehab, case management, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and documentation. Participate in multidisciplinary teams, weekly trainings, and group supervision; perform Telehealth and on-site duties per COVID-19 protocols. Complete required paperwork including Medi-Cal/Medicare forms.

Clinical mental health internship providing direct services (community, 24/7 programs), telehealth and field visits, and indirect duties like progress notes. Work focuses on recovery-based treatment for adults with serious mental illness.

Provide psychiatric nursing care at a 16-bed mental health rehabilitation center: administer medications and treatments, transcribe physician orders, document client response, participate in treatment planning, monitor client condition, coordinate admissions/discharges, supervise medication counts and MHW activities, and follow safety, recovery, and regulatory procedures.

Develop and implement regional talent attraction and recruitment strategies; serve on regional leadership team reporting to Regional VP Operations; plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes; source passive candidates; produce recruiting data and metrics; manage recruiting staff and ensure hiring needs across the region are met.

Provide psychiatric medical treatment within licensure scope for members of the Kern Full Service Partnership (FSP). Participate in program leadership, collaborate with staff, ensure quality medical practices meet licensure and payer standards, and deliver patient-centered care within the FSP/ACT model. Provide peer-based support to members using lived experience to engage, inspire, and help set recovery goals. Facilitate meaningful conversations, consult with clinical teams to reinforce recovery culture, respond to crises using de-escalation skills, and transport clients as needed. Maintain required peer certification and participate in on-call shifts.
