Provide psychiatric medical treatment within licensure scope for members of the Kern Full Service Partnership (FSP). Participate in program leadership, collaborate with staff, ensure quality medical practices meet licensure and payer standards, and deliver patient-centered care within the FSP/ACT model. Part-time (8 hours/week).

Provide peer-based support to members using lived experience to engage, inspire, and help set recovery goals. Facilitate meaningful conversations, consult with clinical teams to reinforce recovery culture, respond to crises using de-escalation skills, and transport clients as needed. Maintain required peer certification and participate in on-call shifts.

Peer Support Specialists engage and inspire clients, facilitating recovery goals while promoting a Recovery Culture within the organization. They provide critical support and de-escalation skills for emergencies related to mental health and addiction.
