Provide peer-based support to members using lived experience to engage, inspire, and help set recovery goals. Facilitate meaningful conversations, consult with clinical teams to reinforce recovery culture, respond to crises using de-escalation skills, and transport clients as needed. Maintain required peer certification and participate in on-call shifts.

Provide direct psychiatric medical treatment within licensure scope; participate in program leadership and staff communication; ensure high-quality medical practices meeting licensure and payer standards; work onsite part-time at Multnomah CATC serving adults in short-term crisis care.

Peer Support Specialists engage and inspire clients, facilitating recovery goals while promoting a Recovery Culture within the organization. They provide critical support and de-escalation skills for emergencies related to mental health and addiction.
