Perform SOX compliance testing and ITGC reviews for UK and US clients, identify control deficiencies, prepare testing documentation, support multiple engagements, and advise on remediation and best practices.

Provide corporate legal and company secretarial support for UK clients: manage corporate documentation and statutory compliance, oversee filings, lead a small team, support M&A due diligence, and improve internal processes while liaising with UK partners and regulators.

Maintain and reconcile bank and credit card transactions across three entities using Xero. Record and reconcile sales and supplier bills, process payroll and STP lodgements, prepare monthly management accounts, manage leave and superannuation, support audits, and liaise with international finance teams. Follow up on debtors and resolve accounting issues to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.

Prepare year-end accounts for UK clients (limited companies, sole traders, partnerships) under FRS 102/UK GAAP; manage bookkeeping and trial balance reviews; reconcile balance sheet accounts; assist audit file prep; liaise with UK colleagues; meet deadlines; support junior staff and contribute to process improvements.

Support senior legal partners on UK corporate and company secretarial matters: draft board and shareholder documents, maintain statutory registers, manage Companies House filings (training provided), assist with incorporations, director changes, share transfers and reorganisations, liaise with HMRC and Companies House, and provide ad-hoc company secretarial and legal support.

Perform ITGC testing (access, change management, logical security, IT operations), document design and operating effectiveness, support SOX walkthroughs and testing, identify control gaps and remediation, produce detailed workpapers, and coordinate with client IT, audit, and compliance teams to meet quality, deadline, and budget requirements.

Lead audit engagements end-to-end for a portfolio of clients: plan, supervise fieldwork, review junior staff work, manage budgets and timelines, ensure compliance with auditing standards, and build client relationships while coaching team members.

Support the Audit & Assurance team by assisting seniors on audits, performing audit process tasks, preparing accounts and tax computations, bookkeeping, and attending training while progressing toward ACCA accreditation.

Lead and deliver external audit and assurance engagements across sectors, manage planning and execution, review financial statements and tax computations, liaise with clients, ensure regulatory audit quality, resolve queries, and mentor junior staff while managing multiple assignments.
