Lead external audit and assurance engagements across a variety of sectors, including corporates, charities, and independent schools.
Oversee audit planning, execution, and completion, ensuring assignments are delivered on time, within budget, and to regulatory standards.
Review financial statements and prepare supporting tax computations as part of audit assignments.
Work directly with clients, including time spent on-site at their premises when required.
Address and resolve client queries in a professional and timely manner.
Apply professional scepticism, judgment, and a risk-focused approach throughout the audit process.
Maintain audit quality standards in line with audit regulations and firm policies.
Manage and prioritise workload effectively across multiple assignments.
Deliver excellent client service while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Support and mentor junior team members as required.
RequirementsAbout You
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:
Qualification: CA(SA) or ACCA (completed 3-year training articles essential).
Group or Listed audit experience advantageous
Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards (FRS 102, IFRS, US GAAP).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting packages such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH is an advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A proactive team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
