Design, integrate, and test protected AEHF/EHF SATCOM terminals across hardware, software, RF, and mechanical domains. Translate government requirements into subsystem specs, ensure requirements traceability, coordinate cross-discipline teams, support design reviews, integrate TRANSEC/cryptography, address platform integration constraints, execute system-level test and qualification, investigate anomalies, and support program risk tracking and government briefings.

Perform formal integration testing of submarine network subsystems and applications. Develop and execute test plans and procedures, document and report test results, identify and track integration defects, support defect resolution, and coordinate testing with engineering and configuration management teams.

Provide subject-matter expertise for EXCOMM/Aegis shipboard communications testing on DDG new construction and trials. Review and adjudicate test procedures, perform and oversee EXCOMM/SOVT testing, install/remove and align communications equipment, troubleshoot/repair systems, support COMSEC/TEMPEST handling, document technical manual changes, and participate in technical meetings and shipboard certifications.

Provide network administration and security support to NIWC Pacific, ensuring seamless communications, identifying enhancements, executing project plans, training military and civilian IT staff, overseeing IT task completion, coordinating hardware procurement and installations, and providing on-call/emergency support.

Manage receipt, storage, inventory, shipment, and accountability of government property for NIWC Pacific. Perform annual and cycle inventories, maintain Navy ERP/APSR records, assist auditors, pack and ship materials, track shipments, and support procurement documentation and OM&S inventory analysis.

Provide program management support for FIO programs, including planning, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, WBS, risk and configuration management, documentation, and meeting coordination with government stakeholders. Requires adherence to DoD and federal regulations.

Review and interpret submarine alteration documentation and technical directives. Support engineering assessments for shipboard network and fiber-optic systems, provide technical input for planning and executing platform modifications, and maintain familiarity with platform GFI management and installation requirements.

Provide systems administration and virtualization SME support for C2 mission systems: manage VMware vCenter/ESXi, NetApp storage, Gigamon virtual taps, enforce DoD STIGs, run vulnerability scans, perform backups/disaster recovery, troubleshoot performance, provision VMs, and support exercises with shift work as required.

Support submarine and Navy platform software and networked system installations, including planning, execution, troubleshooting, validation against technical baselines, and providing expertise in network infrastructure and virtualization to ensure installation readiness across surface and sub-surface environments.

Develop and execute software load plans and installation procedures for submarine network systems. Support system configuration and builds in lab and operational settings, coordinate software baseline preparation and validation prior to deployment, and provide technical expertise on network build processes and infrastructure.

Develops and maintains DoD system support documentation, executes configuration control and baseline management, tracks hardware/software changes via CM tools, and coordinates configuration and documentation updates across technical teams.

Develop, maintain, and update Submarine Onboard Verification Test (SOVT) documentation and digital/automated test tools. Coordinate documentation with systems engineering and fleet stakeholders, track configuration changes with Navy-approved tools, and support digital transformation and automation of verification testing procedures.

Provide Knowledge Management expertise to the Maritime Operations Center supporting COMPACFLT. Identify, organize, secure, and share critical information, improve decision-support tools and processes, implement KM best practices, and ensure compliance with Navy records and privacy standards to enhance operational effectiveness.

Provide on-site oversight and coordination of shipboard C4I installations and testing (CANES, GPNTS, NMT, ADNS, COMSEC, BRSE). Manage installation schedules, adjudicate conflicts, produce SITREPS and POAMs, support SOVT readiness briefs, and report status to NIWC/PEM/IPT leads to ensure on-time delivery.
