Enters customer shipment and order information into logistics management software, secures and updates pickup and delivery appointments, verifies data across customer websites and internal systems, and communicates changes to customer and carrier sales teams. The role supports routing, dispatch, traffic, and productivity goals while resolving logistics issues, maintaining accurate records, and building relationships with shipping and receiving locations.

Coordinates shipments by dispatching carriers, managing pickup and delivery information, tracking driver movements, and communicating with carriers, customers, shippers, and receivers. Documents communications in transportation management systems, validates load data, identifies shipment issues, resolves discrepancies, and escalates delays to sales representatives. The role requires strong customer service, organization, problem-solving, computer, and communication skills in a high-volume, shift-based office environment.

Lead regional sales for outsourced/managed transportation services across the Midwest. Build and maintain customer relationships, generate and close new business, quote lanes, cold call prospects, conduct sales trips, design presentations, analyze sales data, and coordinate closely with operations and the VP of Business Development.

Perform freight pricing analysis, forecasting, and reporting to optimize cost and service. Build PowerBI dashboards, support Spotbot and TMS, research competitor pricing, rate scenarios, and communicate pricing decisions to sales and customers.
