Teams at Syfan Logistics

Summer interns receive training in transportation logistics and Syfan operations, rotate through departments such as logistics, 3PL sales, accounting, marketing, IT/data analytics, and pricing, and work under direct supervision with experienced team members. Responsibilities include updating the transportation management system, tracking loads and carrier capacity, supporting carrier prospecting, meeting KPIs, presenting project outcomes, and participating in team and community activities.

Lead regional sales for outsourced/managed transportation services across the Midwest. Build and maintain customer relationships, generate and close new business, quote lanes, cold call prospects, conduct sales trips, design presentations, analyze sales data, and coordinate closely with operations and the VP of Business Development.

Perform freight pricing analysis, forecasting, and reporting to optimize cost and service. Build PowerBI dashboards, support Spotbot and TMS, research competitor pricing, rate scenarios, and communicate pricing decisions to sales and customers.
