Provide clinical support to the Doctor of Optometry to improve exam efficiency and patient experience. Prepare clinic workflow, perform refraction, visual acuity, non-contact tonometry, auto-refractor testing, visual fields, fundus photography, OCT, lensometry, blood pressure measurement, eye drop instillation, and other technician-level procedures within scope. Communicate with retail office staff and hand off patient care to the OD.

Provide clinical support to the Doctor of Optometry to improve exam efficiency and patient experience. Prepare clinic workflow, communicate with retail staff, perform refraction, visual acuity, non-contact tonometry, auto-refractor measurements, lensometer checks, visual field testing, fundus photography, OCT, blood pressure, eye drop instillation, and other clinical procedures within the ophthalmic technician scope, then hand off care to the OD.
