Lead and manage the optical retail team to achieve sales, profit, and customer service goals. Hire, train, coach, schedule, and manage performance. Partner with the Optometrist to drive patient care, dispense eyewear, execute merchandising and operational strategies, analyze financials, and ensure compliance with HR and operational policies.

Provide clinical support to the Doctor of Optometry to improve exam efficiency and patient experience. Perform pre-testing and clinical procedures (refraction, tonometry, auto-refractor, visual acuity, visual fields, OCT, fundus photography, lensometry), take histories and vitals, instill eye drops, prepare clinic workflow, and communicate with retail office staff while handing off patient care to the OD.

Provide clinical support to the Doctor of Optometry to improve exam efficiency and patient experience. Perform refraction, visual acuity, non-contact tonometry, auto-refractor, lensometer, visual field testing, fundus photography, OCT, blood pressure, eye drop instillation, case history review, and prepare the clinic day while coordinating with retail staff and handing off care to the OD.
