Operates mainline excavators for trench excavation and pipe installation, ensuring proper depth and grade, safe rigging, and coordination with ground crews and nearby equipment. The role requires experience in water and sewer installations, subdivision servicing, roadway construction, and urban renewal. It is a physically demanding seasonal position in Fort McMurray with long workdays, site orientations, drug and alcohol testing, and required personal transportation.

Processes full-cycle biweekly hourly payroll, including collective bargaining agreements, reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, government remittances, employee inquiries, legislative updates, and year-end T4 reporting. The role ensures payroll accuracy, compliance with employment standards and union agreements, confidentiality, and timely payments while supporting managers and employees with payroll matters.

Washes heavy equipment, parts, and support vehicles using high-pressure hoses; maintains wash equipment, mobile wash trucks, and shop cleanliness; manually loads and unloads supplies; and follows company safety requirements. The role requires physical fitness, reliability, schedule flexibility, steel-toed boots, a personal vehicle, and completion of drug testing, orientation, fitness assessment, and mask-fit testing.

Performs general industrial and construction labor, including heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, outdoor work, and adherence to company safety procedures.
