Teams at STR

Design, simulate, integrate, and test RF hardware systems for space-based sensing and electronic warfare. Perform trade studies, bench/unit tests, over-the-air demonstrations, system integration and verification, collaborate with signal processing teams, and produce specifications, test plans, and performance reports.

Lead development and application of advanced signal processing, detection, classification, and machine learning algorithms for radar and RF sensing/electronic warfare. Engage customers, lead multidisciplinary teams, translate capabilities into requirements, develop prototypes and demonstrations, and support business development and proposals.

Define system and software architectures for resource-constrained embedded signal-processing platforms. Analyze algorithms to produce system requirements; recommend CPU/DSP/FPGA or hybrid solutions; design, implement, optimize, and port embedded middleware/application software; partition functions between processors and FPGAs; collaborate with integrators and stakeholders; and mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
