Lead improvements to metal fabrication processes (CNC, laser, robotic welding), support safety, quality, and productivity, recommend cross-functional solutions, manage multiple priorities, analyze data to drive business strategy, and support capital equipment purchases and production start-ups.

Design, build, and maintain scalable Node.js backend services and RESTful APIs for an e-commerce fitness platform. Integrate MongoDB/Postgres/MySQL, implement microservices, message queues (RabbitMQ), optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.

Lead and scale on-site manufacturing and warehouse engineering to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost. Drive continuous improvement (lean, Six Sigma), implement automation/robotics, manage capital projects, ensure OSHA/environmental compliance, hire and develop engineering teams, and own operational metrics and cross-functional partnerships.

Identify, develop, and manage government sales opportunities across federal, state, and local levels. Secure bids, submit proposals, execute contracts, maintain agency relationships, ensure procurement compliance (GSA/SAM), track bids and sales performance, and provide post-sale support.

Lead design and optimization of warehouse layouts, process flows, and material handling automation. Provide engineering support for safety, quality, and productivity; analyze data to identify improvements; support capital equipment purchases and production start-ups; collaborate cross-functionally on operational projects.

Support manufacturing and distribution projects from concept to production by improving layouts, processes, and workflows. Maintain CAD floor plans, conduct time-and-motion studies, analyze operational data, support continuous improvement, assist with capital equipment evaluations, and partner with production teams to implement practical process improvements.

Lead identification, evaluation, and qualification of domestic and international suppliers for metal and component categories. Build should-cost models, manage RFQs and negotiations, handle landed-cost and logistics analysis, document supplier qualification, support new product introductions, and maintain supplier data in the ERP for handoff to Procurement.
