Responsibilities include conceptual and detailed product design, stress and fatigue analysis, precision alignment, tolerance budgeting, CAD modeling, system integration, fixture development, manufacturing support, and collaboration with R&D, operations, and sales. The role also provides engineering support for new products, customer proposals, cost/performance optimization, and production improvements.

Supports Rigaku semiconductor metrology customers through advanced X-ray imaging tool deployments, applications development, recipe optimization, troubleshooting, data analysis, training, and technical demonstrations. Collaborates with service, sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve hardware and software, define new applications, and support semiconductor advanced packaging inspections. Requires strong X-ray physics and semiconductor manufacturing expertise, programming or scripting skills, and up to 20% domestic and international travel.

Develops precision optical components and X-ray optics using CNC and manual grinding and polishing processes. Sets up fixturing, alignment, tooling, offsets, and CNC programs; performs optical metrology with interferometers, profilometers, and microscopes; interprets specifications and inspection results; conducts equipment verification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvements. Requires strong precision manufacturing fundamentals, GD&T knowledge, CAD/CAM capability, and willingness to learn optics-specific measurement requirements.

Provides strategic and operational HR support to regional general managers and senior leaders. Responsibilities include leadership development, talent reviews, succession planning, employee relations investigations, organizational change management, compliance reporting, policy administration, and employee engagement initiatives. The role also advises on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employment law compliance, and HR data reporting while supporting employees across diverse teams and geographies.

Creates, standardizes, and documents manufacturing processes; maintains BOMs, engineering drawings, and related documents; evaluates processes to reduce non-value-added activities; collaborates with vendors and suppliers on quality and engineering issues; and supports Quality and Product Engineers in resolving manufacturing-related quality problems.

Supports daily business operations through ERP transaction processing, customer quotations and communication, inventory administration, RMA coordination, cycle counts, supply monitoring, and accurate recordkeeping. Collaborates with operations, sales, engineering, production, and finance teams while protecting confidential information. The role is trained on company processes and requires strong attention to detail, professional communication, and accurate data entry.

Drive regional sales of Rigaku XRD, XRF, and SCX scientific instrumentation across the Southeast U.S. Manage the full capital-equipment sales cycle, develop new business, expand strategic accounts, maintain accurate CRM pipelines and forecasts, conduct demonstrations, deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and communicate technical value to academic, government, and industrial customers. Travel up to 50% throughout the assigned territory and to customer demonstrations, conferences, and company events.
