Designs and develops precision opto-mechanical systems for X-ray optics, including mounts, stages, vacuum-compatible structures, housings, and alignment mechanisms. Performs tolerance, thermal, and structural analyses; creates CAD models and drawings; supports assembly, alignment, testing, and system characterization. Troubleshoots mechanical issues, collaborates with scientists and manufacturing partners, supports prototype development, and documents designs and test results.

Manage strategic semiconductor accounts, develop account plans, drive business development and sales growth, negotiate commercial agreements, forecast revenue, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Build relationships with executive, engineering, R&D, and procurement stakeholders; align customer and company roadmaps; lead proposals, customer engagements, escalations, and opportunity management. The role requires semiconductor X-ray and metrology expertise, Salesforce proficiency, and 20–30% domestic and international travel.

Designs and integrates mechanical systems and subassemblies for x-ray analytical instruments. Responsibilities include conceptual and detailed product design, stress and fatigue analysis, precision alignment, tolerance budgeting, CAD modeling, system integration, fixture development, manufacturing support, and collaboration with R&D, operations, and sales. The role also provides engineering support for new products, customer proposals, cost/performance optimization, and production improvements.
