Own the growth of Rain’s branded payments and stored-value business from opportunity identification through partner acquisition, deal close, and launch. Lead business development, commercial negotiations, go-to-market strategy, pricing, market positioning, and launch sequencing. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Go-to-Market teams to translate partner needs into buildable products, establish strategic goals, track performance, and represent Rain with external stakeholders.

Design and own secure, scalable wallet infrastructure for custody, key management, transaction signing, authorization, recovery, and multichain systems. Architect support for MPC, HSMs, secure enclaves, TEEs, smart contract wallets, account abstraction, and emerging cryptographic approaches. Define security boundaries, policy engines, secrets management, authentication, and programmable authorization while making foundational build-versus-buy decisions and guiding systems from first principles through production.

Lead the technical strategy, architecture, quality, reliability, security, and scalability of Rain’s approximately 50-person engineering organization. Oversee critical payment, wallet, ledger, settlement, and partner-integration systems; establish engineering standards, SLOs, incident practices, and developer tooling; review high-impact designs; and develop engineering managers and technical leads. Partner with Product, Risk, Compliance, leadership, board members, banking partners, and customers while planning for significant transaction-volume growth.

Lead and develop a team of senior backend and platform engineers while owning architecture, technical direction, reliability, and engineering standards. The role combines people management with approximately 30% hands-on work, including code reviews, prototyping, debugging, and implementation. Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, incident response, scalability, observability, SLOs, technical planning, and cross-functional partnership with Product, Compliance, Finance, and leadership for systems processing global payments.

Lead a 30-person engineering organization while remaining hands-on in code, architecture, design reviews, production debugging, and technical decision-making. Own engineering quality, reliability, scalability, security, compliance, and operational excellence across payments, wallets, ledgers, card issuing, and blockchain infrastructure. Coach engineering managers and technical leads, improve delivery practices, oversee incident response, and prepare systems for significant transaction growth while partnering closely with Product, Risk, Compliance, Security, and external partners.

Provide legal advice on U.S. and EU payments regulation, support licensing and MTL applications, draft and negotiate commercial and cardholder agreements, manage outside counsel, respond to regulators and audits, and shape internal strategy on payments and crypto compliance.

Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and digital asset ledger maintenance across multiple entities; build scalable reconciliation frameworks, perform revaluation/translation for subsidiaries, analyze ASC 606 revenue contracts, drive process automation with cross-functional teams, support billing accuracy, audits, system implementations, and acquisition integrations.

Design, build, and maintain Soroban smart contracts and backend services integrating Stellar, EVM, and Solana. Scale on-chain infrastructure for high-volume transactions and real-time processing, drive architecture and roadmap, and ship features iteratively.

The Marketing Manager LATAM will localize and scale marketing efforts across Latin & South America, manage strategic partnerships, create targeted B2B campaigns, and handle regional communications and events.

Lead market research, competitive analysis, and commercial opportunity preparation; build strategic narratives, financial and operating models; coordinate cross-functional workstreams; support product expansion and partnerships; represent the company externally and monitor industry and regulatory trends.

Design, build, and maintain Solana programs and backend services that integrate with Solana, EVM, and Stellar. Scale on-chain infrastructure for high-volume transactions and data ingestion, drive architecture and product roadmap decisions, and ship secure, reliable capabilities to customers.

The AI Operations Lead will identify operational bottlenecks, build AI automations and workflows, and drive cross-team collaboration to enhance efficiency and establish internal AI foundations.

The Licensing Associate is responsible for managing regulatory licensing applications, ensuring compliance with U.S. and international regulations, and tracking deadlines and renewals.

Lead and expand Rain's global financial ecosystem partnerships: source and negotiate strategic bank, payments, treasury, and infrastructure relationships; manage cross-functional implementations; influence product and expansion strategy; mitigate partner risks and improve infrastructure resilience.

Own Rain's onchain product roadmap including smart contracts, chain/asset integrations, settlement, and treasury flows. Lead protocol and infrastructure tradeoffs, security/audits, partner-facing surfaces and documentation. Work cross-functionally with engineering, security, compliance, legal, and partners to prioritize, ship, measure, and iterate on scalable onchain payments primitives.

Lead M&A and corporate development work: manage transactions from LOI to close, draft and negotiate deal documents, coordinate due diligence, advise on entity formation and international expansion, support regulatory approvals and general corporate matters, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and legal colleagues.

Lead go-to-market for onramp, offramp, and payments features by building positioning, enablement, and market intelligence. Create sales and post-sales materials, track global banking rails and competitors, and translate liquidity, settlement, FX, and cross-border regulatory nuance for internal teams. Represent customer needs to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities.

Own Rain's onchain product surface end-to-end: smart contracts, chain and asset integrations, settlement and treasury flows, and related infrastructure. Drive roadmap, partner with engineering/security/compliance, set security and audit standards, choose supported chains/assets, translate protocol tradeoffs into partner-facing product, gather partner feedback, and measure and iterate on adoption.

Lead go-to-market for Rain's card product pillar: own product launches, build revenue enablement and training, translate card program mechanics for internal teams, track competitive entrants, and feed customer insights into product roadmap.

Work daily on transaction monitoring: review alerts, conduct KYC/KYB and enhanced due diligence, investigate cases, draft SAR narratives, send RFIs, support KYC refreshes, and improve policies while staying current on FinCEN/FATF guidance.
