Own Pulley’s AI technical direction and production LLM systems for permitting intelligence. Build document extraction, classification, retrieval, and agentic workflows; establish evaluation and observability standards; make model, architecture, cost, and latency decisions; and mentor engineers. The role requires hands-on production experience with LLMs, AI coding agents, reliability engineering, and end-to-end ownership of AI domains, with possible work on OCR, document understanding, fine-tuning, and full-stack AI features.

Manage multiple commercial permitting projects from initiation through approval, ensuring milestones remain on track and resolving regulatory roadblocks. Advise clients on local permitting processes, building codes, and zoning requirements; collaborate with municipal officials to accelerate approvals; and partner with product, engineering, and leadership teams to improve workflows, platform capabilities, and client outcomes.

Lead and own technical domains end-to-end to build AI-driven permitting products. Design and ship full-stack features (TypeScript/React/Google Cloud) that leverage LLMs and AI agents, set technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure production reliability and long-term architectural quality. Collaborate with designers and users to solve ambiguous problems and scale the product.

Own end-to-end product features from user research through production. Turn unstructured permitting documents and regulations into reliable AI-driven product experiences. Build and ship LLM/agent-powered features, make technical and product decisions, architect durable systems, and mentor engineers while collaborating with designers and end users.

As a Project Manager, you will streamline permitting processes, manage projects, advise clients, and collaborate with municipalities to enhance project timelines and outcomes.

Build and own Pulleys channel partner program: identify, recruit, close, onboard, and enable partners; hand off partner-sourced opportunities to Sales; collaborate with Marketing; manage long-term partner relationships; create playbooks and incorporate partner feedback into GTM strategy.

Build and lead Pulley’s commercial legal function, create processes and templates, advise leadership on corporate legal matters, draft and negotiate customer/vendor/partner contracts, partner with Sales and cross-functional teams, manage outside counsel, and provide pragmatic, business-focused legal guidance as the first legal hire.

Own full sales cycle for enterprise customers: prospect, discovery, solutioning, negotiation, and close.
