Coordinate inbound supply chain processes for a specific product assortment. Manage supplier relationships, adjust ordering and delivery schedules, translate commercial plans into logistics actions, monitor product availability, and identify root causes using data-driven analysis. Coordinate private-label packaging projects from planning through launch. The role requires proactively resolving delays, challenging missed commitments, and ensuring smooth packaging transitions in a fast-paced environment.

Partners with Tech leadership and employees on performance management, staffing, development, retention, onboarding, rotations, and organizational effectiveness. Serves as a trusted HR advisor, coaches leaders, manages talent processes, drives people-related projects, improves HR programs, uses data for decisions, and handles documentation related to development agreements, contracts, and compensation.

Designs internal products for Picnic’s supply chain and workforce, owning work from problem definition through polished UI and documentation. Responsibilities include qualitative research, user testing, complex-system design, collaboration with developers, design-system contributions, and iterative improvement. The role requires a strong product-design portfolio, Figma proficiency, attention to detail, fluent English, and an EU work permit.

Participate in a six-month Tech Academy while contributing to production systems as part of a Java backend development team. Learn clean code, reactive programming, MongoDB, and scalable system development with mentorship. After the academy, continue as a Java backend engineer, taking on increasingly complex tasks and responsibilities. Collaborate on product or platform teams using technologies including Spring, Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL.

Own daily fulfillment-area performance across safety, quality, productivity, and delivery KPIs. Lead teams and shifts, supervise floor operations, manage incidents and planning escalations, and use data to drive continuous improvement. The role requires hands-on leadership in high-volume fulfillment environments, Lean experience, analytical ability, and flexibility to work across Picnic sites in the Netherlands.
