Partners with product managers, business units, and technical teams to identify business problems and translate requirements into user stories, features, process flows, and testable outcomes. Supports backlog prioritization, stakeholder communication, testing, release planning, product quality, and solution decisions. Provides business and operational support for life insurance products, forms, and related technology processes while analyzing risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Oversees treaty and facultative reinsurance administration, accounting, recoverables, settlements, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, renewals, audits, and process improvements. Partners with Finance, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, brokers, and reinsurers to ensure accurate contract execution, timely collections, regulatory compliance, and effective reinsurance program operations.

Manage and grow independent agency relationships across personal, commercial, and life insurance lines. Drive new business, develop agency business plans, provide field underwriting support, recruit and train agencies, monitor performance metrics, collaborate with underwriting/service teams, and run sales and educational meetings to meet territory sales objectives.

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic IT projects. Define scope, manage timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholders. Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party partners, track performance, ensure governance and change management, conduct kickoffs/closures, and promote project management best practices.

Analyze and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for billing and payments. Translate customer journeys into epics, features, and user stories; support delivery across billing systems and integrations, define and execute test/UAT, analyze performance and defects, maintain process documentation, and participate in Agile planning and delivery activities.

Conduct on-site and virtual loss control evaluations across property, liability, auto and workers' compensation; identify hazards, analyze loss trends, recommend risk-reduction measures, prepare detailed reports, provide training and consultative support, and collaborate with underwriting, agents, and claims to improve account performance and profitability.

The Director of Internal Audit leads the internal audit function, ensures compliance, manages risks, and enhances operational efficiency while providing strategic guidance to management.
