Own IT infrastructure and end-user support for a new Sacramento manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include network cabling, fiber termination, wireless deployment, physical security and AV systems, device provisioning, onboarding, endpoint management, asset tracking, vendor coordination, and IT/OT network segmentation. Lead Peak Energy’s full commercial sales lifecycle for utility-scale and distributed sodium-ion energy storage opportunities across the U.S. Build pipelines, develop strategic relationships with utilities, developers, IPPs, EPCs, and corporate energy buyers, and negotiate complex agreements. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Deployment teams to create customer proposals, communicate market feedback, represent the company at industry events, and drive adoption of its grid storage systems.

Supports PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance for battery energy storage manufacturing equipment. Assists with equipment integration, process automation improvements, data acquisition, safety systems, documentation, operator training materials, and validation. Works onsite with Controls, Equipment, Process, and Maintenance Engineers while gaining hands-on industrial automation experience.

Lead all hardware development for a grid-scale energy storage platform, spanning mechanical, structural, thermal, reliability, test, and system integration. Own the hardware roadmap from prototype through commercial production, define subsystem requirements, oversee validation, reliability, certification, design for manufacturing, and production scaling. Recruit and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team while partnering across software, systems, product, cell, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.

Designs, optimizes, and troubleshoots battery manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, cost, and quality. Establishes quality controls, recommends equipment, ensures regulatory and safety compliance, documents procedures, trains staff, and collaborates with R&D, production, and QA to scale new products into full-scale manufacturing.

The Staff Reliability Engineer will ensure hardware reliability in high-voltage electronics, develop reliability test programs, and collaborate on design and testing across teams.

Own the technical aspects of energy-storage sales opportunities from initial customer engagement through contract signature. Lead end-to-end development and delivery of sodium‑ion energy storage systems across hardware and software. Build and lead a Technical Program Management team, translate strategy into plans, drive system integration, resolve technical and schedule risks, and step into critical programs to ensure production readiness, verification, manufacturability, and customer delivery.

Provide executive support to two C-suite executives (and split coverage across others) including complex calendar and travel management, meeting and board logistics, expense reconciliation, and confidential handling. Manage full lifecycle development of utility-scale energy storage projects from site identification and permitting through interconnection, construction, and commissioning. Own schedules, budgets, stakeholder engagement, permitting compliance, land agreements, consultant management, interconnection strategy, and reporting. Coordinate across development, engineering, finance, and external partners; travel up to ~30%.
