About the Role - Technical Program Manager, ESS
Peak Energy is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our Energy Storage Systems (ESS) team and play a crucial role in driving the development and deployment of our sodium ion based large-scale energy storage systems. This role will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and efficient energy storage solutions that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to the advancement of renewable energy storage.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Lead the end-to-end execution of energy storage system projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with many cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, product management, supply chain, and operations teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, and develop comprehensive project plans.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to drive alignment, achieve project goals, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project processes, increase efficiency, and enhance overall project execution capabilities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to battery energy storage systems, and integrate relevant insights into project planning and execution.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in the battery or energy storage industry.
- Strong technical background in battery energy storage systems, including familiarity with battery chemistries, energy management systems, and grid integration technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and driving positive environmental impact through technology innovation.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $170,000-$225,000, with actual pay varying based on work location, experience, and skills. Our competitive benefits package includes:
