Experienced underground pipelayers install and secure sanitary and storm sewer pipes, place bedding, set structure elevations, evaluate ground conditions, use shoring and safe excavation methods, and operate small equipment. They collaborate with operators and crew members, perform equipment maintenance, follow city specifications and safety practices, and work outdoors in physically demanding conditions, including overtime and weekends when required.

Coordinates the full estimating lifecycle, including opportunity tracking, tender documentation, supplier and subcontractor RFQs, quotation follow-up, proposal preparation, quantity take-offs, reporting, systems updates, and estimate-to-operations turnover. The role supports process improvement, information management, and collaboration with estimators, operations, contracts, suppliers, and subcontractors in a fast-paced civil construction environment.

Perform yard labour duties, direct truck traffic, inspect incoming loads, interact with customers, and maintain yard organization. Responsibilities include grass cutting, garbage pickup, general maintenance, and assisting crew members. May operate a front-end loader after training. The role requires outdoor physical work, adherence to safety standards, teamwork, and flexibility to work additional hours or Saturdays.

Control and direct traffic around construction sites by slowing, stopping, releasing, and alternating vehicles. Set up and move barricades under supervision, clean construction debris, and spot vehicles and equipment entering or leaving job sites. Work safely in a physically demanding, high-pressure environment alongside operators and crew members. The role is seasonal, with night-shift availability beneficial but not required. Training is available, and benefits are provided.

Performs landscaping installation and maintenance, including planting, sod and shrub installation, mowing, watering, weeding, pruning, trimming, and outdoor-space cleanup. Operates and maintains landscaping equipment and power tools while following safety practices. Works independently and with crews in a physically demanding seasonal environment. Requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, physical stamina, and basic landscaping knowledge. Must pass a medical or fitness exam.

Seasonal grades person supporting excavation crews by reading drawings, grade stakes, and survey markings; taking measurements; directing cut and fill operations; guiding equipment operators around utilities; setting barricades and signs; assisting with inspections and maintenance; and maintaining safe, productive work practices. The role is physically demanding, includes long hours and overtime, and requires teamwork in a high-pressure construction environment.

Perform general base-construction labour including digging, shoveling, raking, operating small compaction gear and concrete chop saw, placing and compacting granular materials, removing debris, adjusting catch basins/manholes, and working long hours in a safety-focused, team environment. Must have valid driver's license and pass medical/fitness exam.
