Performs inspection, lubrication, contamination control, sampling, and preventive maintenance on heavy mining equipment and fixed plant machinery. Maintains lubrication systems, records service activities, identifies equipment issues, supports repairs and shutdowns, and follows MSHA, lockout/tagout, hazardous-material handling, and site safety requirements. The role requires outdoor physical work, operation of light vehicles, and availability for rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Operates dozers, loaders, and other heavy equipment to manage stockpiles, load materials, support mine plan execution, and maintain safe production operations. Performs equipment inspections, highwall assessments, load-quality checks, drill QAQC record keeping, housekeeping, production reporting, and mechanical issue reporting. Works rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and in outdoor industrial or mining environments while following safety and environmental requirements.

Collects and manages blast-hole samples for geological analysis, including identifying sampling requirements, preparing tags, labeling holes, collecting duplicate quality-control samples, completing delivery paperwork, and transporting samples to the assay lab. Maintains sample inventories and supplies, organizes drill campaign samples, and assists surveyors and assay technicians. The role requires outdoor mine work, physical lifting, respirator use, and adherence to safety procedures.

Provides QA/QC oversight for fixed plant equipment across greenfield expansions and brownfield mining operations. Conducts receiving, in-process, and final inspections for crushers, mills, screens, thickeners, pumps, conveyors, structural work, and piping. Verifies compliance with engineering drawings, OEM specifications, and ASME, AWS, and ISO standards. Reviews quality dossiers, material test reports, welding documentation, NDE results, and commissioning records. Supports shutdowns, sustaining capital work, project handovers, and operational asset documentation.

Maintain, repair, and install process equipment and machinery (pumps/compressors); perform predictive and preventative maintenance, welding/fabrication, alignments, pump rebuilds, troubleshooting, complete work orders, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.

Lead metallurgical operations for copper and molybdenum processing, optimize recovery and quality, manage teams, implement new technologies, ensure environmental compliance and safety, and deliver reports and project management for the Mineral Park Mine.

Lead concentrator metallurgical functions including process control, flotation, laboratory, and metallurgical accounting. Develop metallurgical strategies, optimize recovery and reagent use, monitor performance, investigate losses, implement improvements, support budgeting and projects, and promote safety and environmental stewardship.

Lead site supply chain for an open‑pit copper mine: oversee strategic sourcing, procurement, contracts, vendor management, logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations. Build supplier relationships, negotiate agreements, drive inventory optimization and continuous improvement, and partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and finance to ensure material availability and site performance.

Accountable for overall concentrator performance—safety, throughput, metallurgical recovery, product grade, cost, and reliability. Lead mill, maintenance, and technical teams; develop KPIs, budgets, operating plans; drive continuous improvement, commissioning, upgrades, and cross-functional optimization to meet production objectives and regulatory compliance.

Oversee safe, compliant heap leach and concentrator processing to meet production and recovery targets. Optimize heap leach stacking and irrigation, manage costs, inventory, metallurgical accounting, reporting, and coordinate with mining, geology, safety, permitting, and labs.

Design, program, commission, and maintain PLC/SCADA/HMI/DCS control systems for mining and processing operations. Troubleshoot instrumentation and networks, optimize system performance, produce technical documentation, support projects, train operations/maintenance staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
