Provide commissioning, integration, customer support and training for OPAL-RT electronic products and software. Perform internal testing, troubleshoot power system simulation and hardware-in-the-loop setups, and work with utilities, OEMs and engineering firms to deploy solutions for generation, transmission and distribution networks.

Provide technical leadership and Level 3 support for FPGA-based real-time power-electronics simulation (eHS/eFPGASIM). Integrate and optimize solutions for client HIL projects, coordinate tickets (JIRA), assist development teams, contribute to presales estimates and hardware/software architecture, and prepare/deliver training and documentation. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in product improvement and validation campaigns.

Develop, implement and maintain automated unit and integration tests in Python; integrate tests into CI (Jenkins/Groovy); support R&D test specifications; improve test tools and processes; train users and collaborate within an Agile team to support real-time simulation platform development.

Define strategic vision and priorities for the energy solution portfolio; structure offers, pricing and partnerships; represent customer needs; align Product, R&D, Sales and Operations; monitor segment performance and recommend investment trade-offs; lead cross-functional coordination and influence stakeholders. Travel up to 10 weeks per year.

Analyze and convert power system models from tools like PowerFactory, PSCAD, PSS/E, and CYME into OPAL-RT real-time environments. Develop, validate, and implement component models and conversion scripts, provide second-level customer support, collaborate with software and power system engineers, and create example models reflecting market trends and product capabilities.

Support business development in China by preparing technical proposals, delivering product demonstrations and presentations, coordinating onsite demos and marketing materials, participating in customer visits, trade shows and conferences, and supporting customer relations in collaboration with the global technical sales team.

Develop and maintain internal automation tools (Python, Groovy, Shell), automate builds/tests/deployments, manage CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), maintain virtualized on‑prem and cloud infrastructure (Proxmox, VMware, Azure, AWS), improve build systems and dependency management, document solutions, and support/train software teams in an Agile environment.

Identify and qualify leads, research target accounts, contact prospects via phone, email and messaging, book meetings for Account Executives, keep CRM updated, support sales and marketing with feedback and surveys, and participate in regular coaching sessions.

Manage multidisciplinary technical customer projects from scope definition through delivery. Plan, monitor progress, resolve issues, control budgets and changes, prepare status reports, manage risks, and coordinate stakeholders, knowledge transfer and training.

Design, implement and optimize VHDL FPGA modules for real-time simulation platforms. Integrate high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, Aurora), perform unit/functional/integration testing, participate in hardware and code reviews, and collaborate with hardware/software teams to meet performance, latency, and resource constraints.

Lead QA automation strategy and framework design, build and maintain CI/CD test automation, write and review test scripts, collaborate with DevOps/software/hardware teams, mentor QA engineers, promote testing best practices, metrics and reporting to improve quality and traceability.

Drive new business and manage existing automotive and academic accounts in North America. Execute consultative sales cycles, prospect, demo products, prepare technical-commercial proposals, negotiate and close deals, and represent OPAL-RT at events. Role requires collaboration with presales, R&D and partners and includes up to 35% travel.

Co-develop and adapt electrical courseware for academic collaborators and new rapid-control-prototyping hardware. Produce training videos, contribute to scientific publications, and support HIL/RCP and digital-twin based simulations for power systems and renewable-energy topics.
