The Senior Legal AI Researcher will develop custom AI models for legal tasks, mentor junior researchers, evaluate legal AI benchmarks, and improve legal operations through AI.

Provide advanced technical support and configuration for Onits SaaS legal operations platform. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimize performance, advise clients on best practices, collaborate with Engineering and Product teams, and drive product improvements based on client feedback.

Manage end-to-end accounts payable: enter invoices with accurate GL coding, prepare weekly payment lists, initiate ACH/wire/credit card/vendor payments, enforce fraud controls, reconcile and resolve AP discrepancies, meet month-end SLAs, and partner with accounting and cross-functional teams on AP priorities and ad hoc projects.

Lead design and implementation of new features and APIs for AI-centric legal tech platform, mentoring junior developers and focusing on both front-end and back-end development.

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications with Ruby on Rails and React. Design scalable backend services and REST APIs, build responsive UIs, collaborate on QA and architecture, write well-tested code, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure performance and reliability.
