Leads civil, site, and nuclear development engineering for advanced fission powerhouse sites from development through construction readiness. Oversees site layouts, geotechnical and infrastructure planning, basis-of-design packages, technical risk reviews, permitting and licensing inputs, consultant quality control, and EPC handoff. Builds and manages multidisciplinary engineering teams while coordinating reactor design, site constraints, project schedules, isotope facilities, and Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses.

The External Hazards Regulatory Engineer will develop licensing strategies, assess external hazard impacts, manage analyses, and ensure compliance with NRC regulations. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams, authoring technical documents, and integrating hazard assessments into project designs.

The Regulatory Engineer navigates regulatory frameworks while contributing to engineering design for fuel recycling facilities and licensing requirements.

Develop and deploy LLM workflows and production machine learning models for nuclear-system design and analysis. Ensure training evidence is accurate, traceable, retrievable, and compliant with nuclear quality requirements including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and ASME NQA-1.

Designs, analyzes, prototypes, and operates fluid and process systems for isotope production, recovery, purification, and handling. Owns process system architecture, specifications, documentation, performance, and lifecycle configuration. Develops process diagrams, balances, operating envelopes, and regulatory documentation; collaborates with vendors on equipment procurement and testing. Supports product quality requirements and conducts hazard analyses addressing chemical, radiological, criticality, contamination, and abnormal-operation risks.

Design, integrate, commission, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems for advanced nuclear technology test platforms. Responsibilities include selecting instruments, developing control logic and architectures, preparing engineering documentation, integrating process equipment and industrial networks, conducting verification and startup testing, overseeing suppliers, and maintaining configuration control. The role requires collaboration across engineering, quality, software, operations, and test teams, with occasional travel.

Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Oklo Isotopes and team.
