The role manages retail partnerships, sales targets, inventory, merchandising standards, distribution, field marketing, sampling, partner agencies, and potentially junior sales staff. This field-based position requires frequent regional travel, recurring weekend store visits, a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

The Grower supports strawberry production and R&D farms by monitoring plant health, diseases, pests, environmental conditions, quality, and yield. Responsibilities include executing farm deployment initiatives, collecting and analyzing plant and environmental data, reporting findings through written summaries and visualizations, identifying issues early, and collaborating cross-functionally on improvement projects. The role is hands-on, requiring substantial time working directly with plants in production and research greenhouse environments.

Leads strawberry cultivation experiments and recipe development across production and R&D farms. Analyzes cultivation data, identifies plant health and yield challenges, tests environmental and irrigation parameters, and translates findings into improved growing recipes. Oversees experiment execution, compliance with safety and IPM protocols, cross-functional farm projects, experiment roadmaps, and development of grower and operator teams. The role is hands-on, strategic, and primarily farm-based.

Supports sales operations and fulfillment by entering and allocating orders, balancing supply against demand, resolving order issues, coordinating delivery appointments, and optimizing logistics routes. The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Outbound Logistics teams, maintains dashboards and operational systems, and assists with pick, pack, staging, distribution, and value-added product operations.
