Build containerized microservices with Kubernetes, collaborate cross-functionally on new features, troubleshoot customer issues, and write unit and integration tests. The role also involves cloud technologies, automated testing, performance optimization, Git workflows, and prototyping generative AI or agent-based capabilities.

Manages relationships with broadband and utility cooperative members across the Southeast Territory. Responsibilities include onsite customer engagement, issue resolution, account record maintenance, product adoption support, training coordination, support-case prioritization, negotiations, and identifying opportunities for improved use of NISC solutions. The role also represents NISC at conferences and industry forums and requires extensive travel.

Develop full-stack web applications for work management software supporting utility and broadband operations. Responsibilities include building responsive applications and RESTful services, developing Kubernetes-based microservices, testing software, resolving customer issues, collaborating cross-functionally, and prototyping generative AI and agent-based workflow features. The role requires experience with modern web technologies, Java or similar object-oriented languages, databases, cloud platforms, automated testing, Git workflows, and software engineering practices.

Develop responsive full-stack web applications, RESTful services, and containerized microservices using Angular, TypeScript, Java, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies. Collaborate cross-functionally to design features, resolve customer issues, test applications, and follow software development practices. Explore agentic AI capabilities to automate workflows and improve user experiences. The role supports financial software functionality for accounting, HR, payroll, materials management, plant accounting, and purchasing.

Supports enterprise systems, DevOps workflows, deployments, infrastructure, monitoring, configuration management, and automation. Troubleshoots technical issues, validates system changes, documents procedures, performs quality testing, and assists with scripting and continuous improvement. The internship provides hands-on exposure to Linux, cloud technologies, system administration, networking, databases, and application deployment while collaborating with Systems Engineering and other technical teams.

Provides customer support for operations software, researches and resolves issues with support teams and software engineers, documents solutions, maintains and audits member configurations, follows up on requests, assists with projects, and participates in product testing and documentation. The internship is onsite in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, and requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and technical communication skills.

Implements and integrates utility AMI systems with NISC’s MDMS and CC&B platforms. Configures, tests, and maps meter data; leads VEE processes, data conversion validation, customer training, change requests, and application support. Manages project scope, timelines, expectations, vendor workflows, and customer communications across multiple short-term projects. Provides troubleshooting and after-hours support as assigned, with travel as needed.

Collaborates with software developers, business requirements staff, and quality assurance personnel while following established development methodologies.

Leads credit card portfolio strategy, financial analytics, P&L support, payment operations, risk optimization, treasury analysis, and customer lifecycle initiatives. Develops profitability models, segmentation, forecasts, dashboards, and experimentation frameworks using large transactional datasets. Partners with Finance, Risk, Marketing, Operations, Technology, processors, banks, and networks to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, payment acceptance, liquidity, compliance, and portfolio returns.
