Lead and manage electrical engineering design for NYC public school projects, overseeing teams, ensuring code and FDNY compliance, producing design and construction documents, managing submittals, site observations, stakeholder coordination, and implementing technical standards across program projects.

Lead leasing and acquisition of school sites, perform site assessments, manage SEQR/CEQR and zoning override processes, conduct financial and due-diligence reviews, negotiate leases/developer agreements, coordinate with architects/engineers and city agencies, manage landlord-DOE relationships, and ensure completion of landlord scopes and compliance with division requirements.

Manage and coordinate personnel, budgets, administration, design and construction activities for school capital projects from conception through completion. Ensure quality, code compliance, schedule adherence, change order negotiation, stakeholder communication, mentorship of junior staff, and resolution of construction/contract disputes.

Design and deliver HVAC and mechanical systems for new and existing K-12 school projects. Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, and coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and agencies. Lead and supervise project teams, perform design review, ensure code and energy compliance, and manage multiple projects through construction. May sign and seal drawings and develop standards.
