The initial focus is financial crime intelligence for financial institutions. The role researches markets and buyers, translates complex technology into customer value, supports enterprise sales, and collaborates across Product, Sales, Content, Demand Generation, and Regional Marketing.

Designs, builds, deploys, and improves production-grade AI applications combining graph databases, knowledge graphs, LLMs, and orchestration frameworks. Partners with strategic customers and cloud providers to translate business needs into scalable solutions, manage implementation scope and risks, provide technical consulting, and deliver workshops and training. Contributes to product strategy, thought leadership, and reusable methodologies while staying current with generative AI technologies.

Owns global tax compliance, planning, ASC 740 tax provision, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, treasury operations, cash and liquidity management, banking relationships, debt administration, foreign exchange, intercompany funding, and treasury controls. Partners with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and external advisors while improving systems, processes, reporting, and audit readiness across a global software company.

Leads the architecture, development, deployment, and optimization of production-ready AI solutions combining graph databases, knowledge graphs, and LLMs. Acts as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, translating enterprise requirements into scalable Graph+GenAI applications. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, solution engineering, cloud deployment, data pipeline design, technical enablement, thought leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with product and marketing teams.

Lead Neo4j’s Australian Federal Government account strategy, selling complex graph database, AI, analytics, and cybersecurity solutions to Commonwealth agencies. Manage consultative enterprise sales cycles, procurement processes, partner co-selling, proofs of value, pipeline forecasting, and land-and-expand growth. Build relationships with senior government stakeholders, navigate federal procurement and funding mechanisms, and close high-value, multi-year software agreements across health, defence, national security, and other portfolios.

Leads pre-sales technical engagements for enterprise BFSI customers, including discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-value prototypes, solution architecture, workshops, competitive positioning, and technical win execution. Partners with hyperscalers, systems integrators, and ISVs on joint solutions and co-selling. Collaborates with sales and professional services teams, presents thought leadership, supports developer communities, and travels to customer and partner events as required.

Lead presales engagements with enterprise customers by understanding requirements, designing Neo4j-based solution architectures, building prototypes, conducting demonstrations and workshops, and guiding proof-of-value initiatives. Partner with account executives and technical stakeholders to communicate business value, ensure integration into customer environments, and support adoption throughout the customer lifecycle. Partners with sales teams to manage the technical sales cycle for Neo4j’s graph platform in financial services and insurance. Leads discovery, presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, solution architecture, technical evaluations, sizing, and customer workshops. Advises technical and business stakeholders, integrates Neo4j with cloud or on-premise environments, communicates customer feedback internally, supports demand-generation events, and travels as needed to help close opportunities.

Develop and optimize Neo4j’s Cypher query planner and database codebase, spanning parsing, execution planning, storage files, and indexes. Build language and database features, improve performance through profiling and benchmarking, and reason about algorithmic tradeoffs and edge cases. Collaborate within an Agile distributed team using practices such as TDD, Kanban, Scrum, and pair programming.

Develop and optimize Neo4j’s Cypher query planner, transforming query strings into efficient execution plans. The role spans the parser, storage files, indexes, and broader database codebase, while contributing to new Cypher language and database features. Responsibilities include performance profiling, benchmarking, optimization, abstract design decisions, edge-case analysis, and collaboration within a distributed Agile team.

Develop and enhance Neo4j’s Graph Data Science platform and Aura integrations. Build scalable Java, Go, and Python features bridging on-premises and cloud environments, improve cloud observability, optimize data transfer and streaming, and enhance developer experience. Collaborate across engineering teams to ensure interoperability with the core database while applying graph theory and research to solve customer problems.

Develop and improve Neo4j’s Graph Data Science platform and Aura integrations. Build scalable Java, Go, and Python features connecting on-premises and cloud environments, optimize data transfer, enhance cloud observability, and improve developer experience. Apply database, data modeling, Java, API, messaging, middleware, analytics, Agile, and DevOps experience to solve complex customer data problems. Mentor small groups and collaborate independently or cross-functionally. The role requires consultative experience, a bachelor’s degree, and travel up to 50% of the time.

Develop and guide the front-end architecture for Neo4j’s Virtual Graph product using React, while contributing across backend services, cloud infrastructure, database connectivity, and query systems. Build complex data-rich applications that translate Cypher queries into SQL for cloud data platforms. Build and evolve Neo4j’s Virtual Graph product across the full stack.
