Design, build, and operate Databricks-based data and AI platforms using Medallion Architecture, Spark, Delta Lake, and scalable ELT pipelines. Integrate enterprise systems, implement data quality and monitoring, enforce governance and security, manage cloud data lakes, and enable ML/AI workflows with MLflow. Maintain documentation, conduct code reviews, train stakeholders, and report progress against project milestones.

Design, develop, test, and maintain secure Python backend services and REST APIs (Flask/FastAPI). Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases, support CI/CD and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) on AWS, follow DoD secure-coding standards, troubleshoot production issues, create technical documentation, and collaborate with frontend and AI/ML teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Provide front-line office and Tier 1 IT support to ensure smooth daily operations. Handle visitor reception, phone/email triage, meeting and asset coordination, onboarding/offboarding, basic troubleshooting (hardware, software, VPN, printers), account provisioning, ticket logging, vendor coordination, inventory management, and process improvement while maintaining security and excellent customer service. Onsite five days a week.

Provides senior technical leadership for enterprise API development, application integration, and healthcare interoperability. Designs FHIR, HL7, REST, SOAP, cloud, and MuleSoft solutions; establishes integration architecture, security, governance, and reusable development standards. Leads complex data mappings, troubleshooting, CI/CD automation, technical reviews, and Agile delivery while mentoring engineers and advising technical and business stakeholders.

The Chief Architect will establish and govern enterprise architecture for the WDP program, ensuring alignment with government standards and overseeing architectural decision support activities.
