Lead design and delivery of AI, generative AI and agentic solutions on Azure. Define target architecture and governance, drive MLOps/LLMOps, ensure security, scalability and compliance, support delivery teams, and embed Responsible AI and monitoring frameworks.

Lead end-to-end design, mapping, and optimisation of industry data workflows and governance. Coordinate data stewards, define MDM, data quality and lineage standards, partner with IT and automation teams, gather requirements, set KPIs, and drive stakeholder adoption and training to embed scalable data-sharing processes across the connections function.

In-house regulatory lawyer advising NESO across energy code governance, balancing services, connections, system operations, data sharing and regulatory reform. Drafts and negotiates contracts, manages external counsel, provides training, and supports stakeholder engagement while developing junior team members and scaling legal workflows.

Lead development and implementation of data strategy and governance for connections (transmission/distribution interface). Work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to define policy, translate strategy into execution plans, identify gaps, produce briefings, monitor industry changes, and present updates to executive stakeholders to support connections reform and Clean Power 2030.

Lead the design and implementation of a connections-wide data governance framework, policies, and roadmap. Establish data quality standards, master data management, data lineage and metadata practices, coordinate data stewards, ensure regulatory alignment (GDPR/CCPA) with Legal and InfoSec, drive stakeholder engagement, change management, training, and adoption of data cataloguing tools to improve discoverability and compliance.

Coordinate and enable stakeholder engagement across the East region for regional energy strategic planning (RESP). Manage regional CRM records, support events and workshops, draft concise engagement materials, and oversee day-to-day coordination of the Norwich office. Build local relationships with government, networks and industry to support integrated regional energy plans and net-zero delivery.

Partner with People teams and business stakeholders to turn people strategy into action. Use workforce data and OD expertise to deliver workforce planning, organisational design, change initiatives, workshops and projects that build capability, improve performance and colleague experience.

Lead WESR's central activity and business management: develop and maintain the integrated activity plan, prioritise workstreams, manage interdependencies and risks, produce portfolio insights and dashboards, coordinate resource allocation and governance, monitor KPIs and financials, and manage a multidisciplinary team to strengthen whole-energy-system resilience.

Lead and operate IT service management across NESO, ensuring incident, change, problem and request processes run effectively. Drive ITIL/ServiceNow adoption, SIAM supplier coordination, KPI/SLA reporting, continual improvement, audit readiness and stakeholder engagement to improve service performance and user experience.

Lead the architectural strategy and roadmap for control centre operational systems, ensuring resilience, security, and availability. Provide technical leadership across SCADA, OT and vendor platforms, drive integration, governance, and assurance, and mentor teams while engaging senior stakeholders and suppliers.

Support development of the Wales Regional Energy Strategic Plan by conducting quantitative and qualitative whole-system energy analysis, leading discrete analysis pieces, engaging stakeholders, designing workshops, and producing clear reports and presentations to inform RESP delivery.

Perform gas network analysis and hydraulic simulations to assess current and future transmission system capability across scenarios. Identify issues, develop recommendations, and communicate results to stakeholders to support network planning and Gas System Planner licence obligations.

Lead and build a specialist team to identify, model and assess cascading/interdependent risks across Great Britains energy system. Produce robust, decision-focused analysis and strategic insights, integrate findings across teams, engage stakeholders, and represent NESO in research and industry fora to improve system resilience.

Lead and advance engineering practices for Response and Reform product areas, providing technical leadership across distributed, multi-vendor teams. Drive architecture-to-delivery, CI/CD and DevOps maturity, test automation, observability, technical debt remediation, risk and dependency management, and mentor engineering leads while partnering with product, architecture, delivery and UX to shape roadmaps and ensure high-quality production-ready delivery.

Lead development and governance of procurement policies and templates, ensure compliance with Procurement Act 2023, improve Ivalua e-procurement platform (including AI capabilities), run assurance forums, deliver training, perform audits and reporting, collaborate with legal/finance/systems, and drive continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement across NESO procurement.

Support NESOs Enterprise Portfolio Office by managing the portfolio pipeline, coordinating submissions, providing data-driven prioritisation and financial tracking, producing MI and governance materials, and improving portfolio planning and reporting processes to enable strategic investment decisions.
