Supports development of the North West Regional Energy Strategic Plan by engaging local governments, energy networks, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include designing workshops, applying energy-planning methodologies, coordinating work packages, producing reports and presentations, analyzing energy-system challenges, and contributing strategic insights. The role requires energy-sector knowledge, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, communication skills, and understanding of energy vectors such as gas, electricity, hydrogen, heat, or transport decarbonization.

Support NESO’s supplier performance and third-party risk framework across Property, Facilities Management, and Professional Services. Maintain supplier scorecards, risk registers, governance routines, KPIs, and assurance reports. Coordinate supplier reviews, due diligence, remediation, segmentation, and contract tiering while working with procurement, legal, finance, compliance, contract managers, and suppliers to monitor obligations, mitigate risks, and improve supplier value.

Leads development of Scotland’s Regional Energy Strategic Plan by engaging Scottish Government, local authorities, energy networks, and other stakeholders. The role coordinates workshops, work packages, methodology implementation, stakeholder inputs, reports, and strategic analysis. It requires energy-sector expertise, knowledge of whole-energy systems and project lifecycles, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to translate complex technical information for varied audiences. The position is based in Glasgow with occasional travel and may be full or part time.

Leads responses to high-priority cyber and physical security incidents, including triage, incident ownership, communications, and on-call support. Develops incident response plans, processes, exercises, and documentation; coaches junior colleagues and improves organizational response maturity. Analyzes incident trends, advises senior leaders, manages internal and external stakeholders, and supports risk mitigation for Critical National Infrastructure assets.

Leads supplier performance and third-party risk management across strategic Facilities Management and Professional Services suppliers. Designs governance frameworks, scorecards, risk registers, mitigation strategies, controls, reporting, and assurance processes. Partners with procurement, legal, compliance, finance, contract managers, suppliers, regulators, and senior stakeholders to manage contractual compliance, risk exposure, resilience, and continuous improvement in a regulated energy environment.

Leads identification, assessment, prioritization, and mitigation of security and resilience risks across the energy sector. Conducts risk assessments and deep-dive reviews, integrates insights across specialist disciplines, and develops evidence-based recommendations. Engages industry, government, regulators, and strategic partners on systemic and cascading risks, including supply chain, technology, and operational dependencies. Supports risk methodology development, resilience improvements, regulatory obligations, and strategic security programmes.

Develop strategic electricity network planning policies, methodologies, and processes for Great Britain. The role involves horizon scanning, European engagement, stakeholder collaboration with transmission operators and regulators, strategic option development, and embedding network planning strategies into business-as-usual processes. Candidates should bring energy-system knowledge, strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, process development, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities.

Supports development of the South East Regional Energy Strategic Plan by engaging local authorities, energy networks, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include designing workshops, implementing planning methodologies, coordinating work packages, producing reports and presentations, analyzing energy-system issues, and translating technical information for nontechnical audiences. The role requires energy-sector knowledge, strategic thinking, project coordination, stakeholder management, and familiarity with energy vectors such as gas, electricity, hydrogen, heat, or transport decarbonisation.

Lead design and delivery of AI, generative AI and agentic solutions on Azure. Define target architecture and governance, drive MLOps/LLMOps, ensure security, scalability and compliance, support delivery teams, and embed Responsible AI and monitoring frameworks.

Lead the architectural strategy and roadmap for control centre operational systems, ensuring resilience, security, and availability. Provide technical leadership across SCADA, OT and vendor platforms, drive integration, governance, and assurance, and mentor teams while engaging senior stakeholders and suppliers.
