Lead delivery of the Centralised Strategic Network Plan programme, managing project managers, governance, assurance, risks, dependencies, scope, budgets, vendors, reporting, and change control. Develop technical connection policies for electricity generation and demand connections, ensuring compliance with SQSS and Grid Code requirements. The role involves collaborating with assessment teams, network owners, customers, and internal stakeholders; addressing technical queries; supporting contract and compliance managers; reviewing connection templates; and contributing to technical innovation and connections reform.

Conduct cost-benefit analyses of electricity network investments and commercial solutions using PLEXOS and other energy models. Develop methodologies, tools, and Python-based automation; lead analysis and model development; validate data inputs; present findings to stakeholders, industry bodies, and regulators; support strategic network plans; document repeatable processes; and provide oversight and advice to colleagues.

Lead the development and operationalization of NESO’s Minimum Visibility & Access Methodology for distributed energy resources. Perform power system modeling and analysis, assess transmission-distribution interactions, develop scenarios and engineering frameworks, and translate results into investment and system-planning recommendations. Provide technical assurance, challenge consultant studies, apply SQSS and system-security expertise, influence senior stakeholders, and represent NESO in industry forums and working groups.

Lead the development and mobilisation of innovation projects from proposal selection through funding approval, setup, and handover to delivery teams. Coordinate project plans, procurement, funding submissions, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk, finances, legal, security, and data processes. Manage the innovation pipeline, prepare leadership and funding-board materials, and incorporate lessons learned and emerging technologies. The role requires experience leading teams and developing projects or funding applications, ideally within the regulated GB energy sector.

Provides administrative, coordination, communication, reporting, diary management, training coordination, query resolution, event planning, and project support for the Director of Transformation and Major Projects and senior leadership team. The role builds relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders while supporting efficient function operations. It is offered on a permanent, hybrid basis from Wokingham or Warwick, with full-time, part-time, and flexible working options.

Supports the Corporate Secretariat team with Board and Committee governance, including meeting scheduling, logistics, diary coordination, travel arrangements, meeting-paper circulation, company sealing, statutory filings, registers, annual reports, web portals, invoices, and expenses. The role provides direct administrative support to the Chair, Directors, and Executives while maintaining discretion, strong communication, and compliance with governance requirements.

Owns the Data Sharing Infrastructure product roadmap, backlog, requirements, prioritization, and feature delivery. Leads a cross-functional product team, engages energy-sector stakeholders, oversees third-party delivery assurance, and ensures traceability between requirements, architecture, implementation, use cases, data products, and components. The role also manages Trust Framework revisions, issue prioritization, dependencies, quality assurance, and dispute resolution.

Provides accounting and financial planning support through month-end close, reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, financial analysis, regulatory submissions, audit support, and internal stakeholder guidance. The role also maintains financial controls, supports investment cases and project spend tracking, delivers financial literacy training, and partners with business teams to improve decision-making.

Own the Connections digital product roadmap, translating customer and regulatory needs into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize work using customer and business value, lead agile ceremonies, support user acceptance testing and release sign-off, and collaborate with product, development, business analysis, customer connection, and change teams. The role also involves stakeholder engagement, workshops, demonstrations, presentations, training support, and coaching colleagues on product management practices.

Support delivery of digital products and customer journeys within the Connections Product team. Responsibilities include defining features and user stories, contributing to roadmap prioritization, gathering customer feedback, supporting user acceptance testing and release sign-off, facilitating agile ceremonies, and coordinating training and change activities. The role collaborates with product managers, developers, business analysts, operations, and external stakeholders in a regulated energy environment.

Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities for the Strategic Energy Planning team, including events, forums, working groups, publications, communications, records, reports and follow-up actions. Collaborate across teams to sequence activity, maintain accurate Salesforce data, support stakeholder groups, identify process improvements and escalate issues when needed. The role requires strong administration, planning, coordination, communication, relationship-building and attention to detail within the energy industry.

Develop and implement complex policies and electricity code changes supporting Connections Reform and CP30. Lead a portfolio of policy initiatives, identify gaps, mitigate risks, and support implementation through the connections process. Build relationships with Ofgem, government departments, network owners, industry participants, generators, customers, and internal teams. Present complex information clearly, advise senior stakeholders, and drive strategic change across technical, commercial, and regulatory areas of the electricity connections process.

Leads and coordinates stakeholder engagement for strategic energy planning initiatives. The role develops engagement plans, builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders, gathers and analyzes feedback, communicates complex information, facilitates meetings and events, and creates stakeholder-facing materials. It also supports guidance, process improvement, and coordinated delivery across teams and programmes.

Lead the architectural strategy and roadmap for control centre operational systems, ensuring resilience, security, and availability. Provide technical leadership across SCADA, OT and vendor platforms, drive integration, governance, and assurance, and mentor teams while engaging senior stakeholders and suppliers.
