Trains business office staff and grant coordinators, communicates fiscal issues to senior management, and works independently with limited supervision.

Serves as Chief Information Officer, leading technology strategy and IT operations across multiple college campuses and remote locations. Oversees infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, telecommunications, distance learning technologies, CRM administration, projects, service delivery, and IT staff. Develops technology plans, ensures secure and stable systems, manages customer relationships, and aligns technology resources with institutional goals.

Administers and secures college-wide network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, VoIP, and wireless systems. Designs network architecture, configures services, monitors performance and security through SIEM tools, investigates incidents, and maintains compliance with NIST 800-171 and Minnesota State policies. Performs risk assessments, improves network resilience, documents configurations and recovery procedures, and provides technical guidance to staff while coordinating security reporting and operational support.

Coordinates Metro State University's TREC prison education program, including recruiting and preparing instructors and volunteers, supporting incarcerated students, maintaining learning materials, coordinating relationships with correctional facilities, and developing partnerships with educational and nonprofit organizations. The role requires frequent travel to Minnesota correctional facilities, compliance with facility requirements, and collaboration with university, government, and community stakeholders.

Leads experiential learning, internship, and community partnership initiatives for the College of Business, Engineering, and Technology. Develops employer and community relationships, evaluates internship opportunities, advises students, coordinates site visits and events, supports outreach and recruitment, manages communications, and collaborates with academic and university stakeholders. Serves as an internship course instructor as needed and provides strategic guidance on experiential learning policies, employer needs, and program expansion.

Provides customer and administrative services for the Admissions Office, assisting students, faculty, and staff with enrollment-related questions and procedures. Follows policies, explains regulations, maintains electronic records and databases, and identifies solutions to customer needs. Uses feedback from frequent student contacts to recommend improvements to office policies and procedures. The role is full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday, and may require a background check.

Leads college-wide compliance and human resources strategy, including labor relations, collective bargaining, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, benefits, HRIS oversight, payroll coordination, training, and policy implementation. Serves as Title IX Officer, data practices compliance official, ADA coordinator, and investigator. Provides senior technical leadership for enterprise Windows server environments across physical, virtual, hosted, and cloud platforms. Responsibilities include architecture guidance, advanced administration, lifecycle and capacity planning, technical standards, recovery and security controls, complex problem resolution, emerging technology evaluation, and long-range planning. The role leads the Windows Server team and collaborates with infrastructure teams, project groups, vendors, campuses, and business stakeholders.

Owns the lifecycle and roadmap for enterprise cloud and infrastructure services, serving as a liaison between IT and campus stakeholders. Translates business needs into service requirements, priorities, and user stories; coordinates multiple technical initiatives; tracks portfolio milestones, dependencies, risks, and capacity; and develops service documentation, communications, governance materials, and executive briefings. The role delivers workshops, creates accessible learning materials, conducts outreach with community partners, documents client progress, supports program logistics, and promotes digital equity. Work occurs across multiple community locations, with occasional evening and weekend hours.
