The Site Reliability Engineer will improve application reliability through incident response, observability, automation, and software engineering. Responsibilities include defining SLIs and SLOs, building dashboards and alerts, enhancing Grafana integrations, reducing operational toil, leading complex incidents, analyzing logs and source code, and implementing long-term reliability improvements. The role requires collaboration across engineering teams and participation in an on-call rotation approximately every five weeks.

Leads enterprise product strategy, operating models, roadmaps, governance, investment planning, and outcome measurement for digital technology products. Partners with executives, engineering, business, finance, HR, and operations to align priorities, manage risk, drive innovation, and deliver compliant solutions. Designs, develops, tests, deploys, and maintains high-performance software supporting MISO operations and forward energy markets. Collaborates with engineers, data scientists, operations teams, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions, improve situational awareness, integrate AI, and enhance interactive applications. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documentation, validation, stakeholder communication, operational support, customer assistance, and participation in on-call rotations.

Administer legal technology and document management systems, support technology selection and implementation, identify and mitigate legal risks, manage external legal vendors, analyze legal operations data, coordinate legal matters, and oversee department budgets, forecasting, and cost savings. The role will independently manage the corporate controlled document program and legal e-billing platform while supporting cross-functional legal initiatives.

Supports 24/7 grid operations by analyzing scheduling and workforce data, building Power BI and Excel dashboards, identifying trends and risks with SQL and Python, and contributing to process improvements, system migrations, training design, and monthly operations metrics. Presents findings to Control Room leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Owns and improves MISO’s enterprise planning framework and governance model. Establishes planning standards, coordinates strategy convergence, facilitates executive planning sessions, ensures corporate plan quality, and aligns strategic planning with budgeting, workforce planning, performance measurement, and incentive development. The role synthesizes industry, regulatory, risk, and stakeholder insights into actionable guidance while leading continuous improvement of enterprise planning capabilities.

Advises senior leaders and supports corporate planning by synthesizing enterprise risks, performance, compliance, competitive intelligence, and external trends. Assesses strategic plans for gaps, dependencies, tensions, and opportunities; translates complex information into executive narratives and strategic choices; and connects priorities to enterprise objectives and performance measures. The role influences cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority and supports executive and Board-level discussions with integrated strategic assessments.

Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and modernize Java/Spring Boot applications in mission-critical environments. Lead complex feature implementation, make technical decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply generative AI across the software development lifecycle. Summer legal internship for undergraduate students pursuing law, political science, environmental or energy policy, or related fields. Responsibilities include legal and policy research, contract language review, governance support, regulatory and corporate law exposure, stakeholder considerations, professional development, and a final presentation. The role is onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas, averages 40 hours per week, and runs from June 2 through August 13, 2027.

Build and improve systems automation using Ansible, Python, GitHub Actions, and Packer. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues with engineers, implement fixes, and improve the reliability, security, and consistency of computer system deployment. Interns will complete a technical project, present their recommendations, and participate in professional development and networking activities. The role is onsite in Carmel, Indiana, from June 2 through August 13, 2027.

Internal Audit interns perform control testing, evaluate business processes, document audit evidence, and support risk mitigation and compliance activities, including Entity Level and Sarbanes-Oxley audits. Interns collaborate with managers, mentors, and cross-functional teams, participate in professional development, and present project findings at summer’s end.
