Train in reserve until shift-qualified and work a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Support real-time transmission operations by maintaining EMS accuracy and inputs (ICCP/SCADA), monitoring the State Estimator, producing contingency analysis, and collaborating with operators and external stakeholders. Train in operations, perform studies to ensure reliability, and participate in projects to modernize operations.

Perform engineering, statistical, and economic analyses of electricity market operations and participant behavior. Develop, evaluate, and recommend market design initiatives, models, algorithms, and tariff/system changes. Lead design and implementation of GRC automation: controls evidence collection, testing, workflow orchestration, integrations, risk intake/scoring, third‑party risk automation, and continuous monitoring. Translate compliance requirements into scalable engineered solutions and build the GRC automation roadmap and annual program from the ground up.

Lead a control-room team to ensure real-time grid reliability for a large multi-state region. Oversee operations, drive process and policy improvements, collaborate with R&D and customers, and partner with HR on training and workforce development to integrate increasing solar, battery, and data center resources.

Monitor and analyze federal legislative, regulatory, and agency activity affecting MISO; prepare briefings and external materials; coordinate with internal SMEs and strategic communications; support Washington, D.C. office operations; engage with lawmakers, regulators, trade associations, and members; participate in industry committees and events; contribute to task forces and working groups.

Serve as the central G&I Operations representative to translate operator needs into prioritized requirements, drive process improvements, develop an operational roadmap, influence product strategy and adoption for Control Room applications, lead after-action reviews, and champion standardization and integration across tools to improve operator efficiency and situational awareness.
