Teams at Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO)

Supports employee relations case administration, separation and offboarding workflows, HR reporting, workforce data collection, employee lifecycle processes, and recurring People Operations activities. Maintains confidential records, coordinates meetings and documentation, tracks milestones and access removal, responds to routine HR inquiries, and identifies process improvements and compliance risks. Collaborates with HR stakeholders on organizational changes, projects, templates, SOPs, and service delivery.

Provides corporate and regulatory legal support for MISO, including drafting FERC filings, interpreting tariffs and regulations, advising internal stakeholders, supporting state regulatory matters, identifying risks, and attending stakeholder meetings. The role requires independent legal judgment, strong legal writing, and collaboration across business functions to support energy markets and grid reliability.

Serves as a strategic HR advisor to executive leadership, guiding workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, succession, performance management, and change initiatives. Analyzes workforce data to identify risks and develop recommendations, coaches leaders on complex employee matters, and partners across HR functions to deliver integrated solutions. The role also supports organizational improvement, employee engagement, leadership development, and compliance with employment laws and HR policies.
