Manage site safety and quality programs for a carbon-steel distribution facility. Implement QA policies, conduct audits and corrective actions, oversee vendor material quality, train staff on OSHA/OSH procedures, perform risk assessments and accident investigations, maintain records and compliance with ASTM/ABS/ASME standards, and collaborate with operations, HR, and legal on safety and quality matters.

Perform mechanical and physical inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished metal products; read blueprints; use inspection tools; document and report quality deviations; enforce OSHA and company safety policies; deliver safety training; conduct accident investigations and risk assessments; coordinate with HR, management, vendors, and regulators to maintain compliance and safe operations in a heavy industrial warehouse environment.

May travel to other plants.

Manage and coach an inside sales team to drive revenue and profitability through strategic sales plans, pricing, proposals, RFP responses, client relationship management, activity tracking, and performance evaluations while controlling expenses and ensuring standards are met.
