Teams at Metals USA

Performs general clerical and receptionist duties: answers phones, data entry, filing (electronic and hard copy), mail distribution, basic reporting, scanning/fAXing, and basic research to resolve administrative issues. Supports company policies, confidentiality, and safety requirements.

Ensure facility-wide compliance with OSHA and company safety policies through inspections, training, risk assessments, accident investigations, PPE and equipment oversight, emergency drills, corrective actions, and liaison with HR and regulators. Support Safety Director and regional safety management and manage safety-related records, reporting, and onsite safety coordination in an industrial warehouse environment.

Manage daily plant operations at a metals service center: plan and execute production schedules, supervise supervisors and front-line staff, oversee receiving, warehousing, inventory control, quality and safety programs, enforce policies and collective bargaining agreements, and drive continuous improvement and on-time deliveries.
