Manages recruitment, induction, performance appraisal, career development, training needs, and learning programs across the mission. Advises managers on talent selection and development, supports HR and administration teams, maintains candidate and mobility pools, manages training budgets, evaluates program effectiveness, and contributes to HR planning, policy implementation, and staff capability development.

Provides psychological assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, counseling, psychotherapy, and mental health support to patients. Implements SGBV and mhGAP protocols, supports vulnerable populations, collaborates with medical teams and translators, maintains confidentiality, collects monitoring data, and contributes to staff training and mental health capacity development.

Receives, checks, records, stores, inventories, packs, and distributes goods according to MSF procedures. Maintains organized, secure, clean storage areas; monitors cold-chain conditions and FIFO/FEFO inventory practices; updates stock cards and ERP records; supports cargo offloading, stock checks, housekeeping, basic equipment maintenance, and delivery of supplies to MSF facilities.

Provide direct nursing care, triage, treatment and follow-up per medical prescriptions and protocols; maintain infection prevention and control; manage admissions, documentation and pharmacy stocks; supervise and train nurse-aids; deliver family planning, HIV/STI/hepatitis screening and treatment, and PEP/PrEP services; identify and refer GBV survivors; support mhGAP mental health activities; collect and report clinical data; ensure quality assurance and timely referrals.

Plan, organize and supervise laboratory activities, ensuring biosafety, quality control, sample flow, equipment maintenance and stock management. Perform and oversee diagnostic testing (PoC, TDR, molecular, serology, hematology, biochemistry, bacteriology, parasitology), train staff, manage data and reporting (DHIS2), coordinate external referrals, and support project planning and laboratory QA processes.

Provide clinical consultations, diagnosis, treatment and referrals per MSF/WHO protocols; ensure hygiene and device safety; supervise clinical staff and HR processes; perform first aid, record keeping, data collection, patient therapeutic education, PEP/SGBV implementation, hepatitis activities, and support mhGAP.

Oversee HR management in accordance with Kenyan labor laws and MSF policies, including payroll, staff contracts, and employee benefits. Responsible for audits, report preparation, and HR information systems management, while ensuring compliance with legal standards and effective administration of HR functions.

Responsible for payroll management, administrative tasks, cash management, data entry, and compliance with legal requirements for HR and finance functions.

The Clinical Officer ensures quality patient care by organizing medical consultations, implementing MSF policies, and supervising clinical teams while maintaining confidentiality and data traceability.
