Manage multidisciplinary product development projects from launch through completion, including requirements qualification, proposals, budgeting, profitability, customer relationships, schedules, quality, and contractual commitments. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and software teams, monitor workloads and performance, manage risks and trade-offs, report to leadership, improve project management processes, and ensure compliance with quality and EHS standards.

Develops Kickmaker’s regional client portfolio through prospecting, sales meetings, tailored technical proposals, negotiations, and contract closure. Builds relationships with clients, partners, and internal staff; oversees partner projects, monitors market opportunities, supports recruitment, tracks KPIs, supervises junior sales personnel, and ensures process and HSE compliance. The role requires technical sales experience, an engineering or related technology background, and strong knowledge of the Seattle industrial and technology ecosystem.

Identify, prospect, and qualify technology-focused business partners across the West Coast through outbound calls, field visits, trade shows, and industry events. Build relationships with decision-makers, understand client needs, co-develop proposals with engineering teams, support US candidate sourcing, and report sales activity through KPIs. The role requires a strong interest in technology or hardware, initiative, communication skills, and availability for a six-month full-time internship.

Develop embedded firmware and software for customer projects from requirements through production. Responsibilities include firmware design, microcontroller and Embedded Linux development, testing, documentation, integration, continuous deployment, and iterative customer feedback cycles. The role also supports electronics testing, HSE compliance, eco-design, product lifecycle analysis, and CSR improvements across projects in robotics, medical devices, mobility, and other high-tech markets.

Design, prototype, test, and improve mechanical systems for robotic actuators, joints, and assemblies. The role includes motor sizing, wiring layouts, thermal management, CAD development, GD&T, sensor and electronics integration, bench validation, and collaboration with manufacturing partners on casting, machining, and assembly. The engineer will also support automation and system integration during robotic builds.

Develops electronic hardware from requirements and architecture through prototyping, testing, certification, manufacturing documentation, and production support. Designs schematics, PCB layouts, wiring, and manufacturing files; coordinates with suppliers and EMS partners; conducts validation testing; supports EMC, radio, and electrical safety certification; and contributes to quality, HSE, eco-design, lifecycle analysis, and ESG improvement initiatives.

Drive regional business development by prospecting, conducting sales meetings, shaping technical proposals, negotiating contracts, managing partner projects, and identifying market opportunities. The role also supports recruiting, employee relationships, assignment follow-up, KPI reporting, junior sales supervision, process quality, and HSE compliance. Candidates need sales experience, technical product knowledge, familiarity with the Austin industrial and technology ecosystem, and an engineering or mechanical, electronics, or robotics background.
