Supervise onsite drivers and freight operations while ensuring safe, OSHA- and FMCSA-compliant work practices. Manage staffing, equipment tracking, inspections, loading and unloading procedures, inventory, maintenance coordination, training, and production goals. Serve as the communication link among customer plants, dispatch, terminal management, and drivers. Conduct yard checks, address service disruptions, enforce PPE and safety requirements, and support a clean, organized worksite.

Provides companywide HR administration with primary responsibility for multistate leave administration, employee investigations, benefits reconciliation, employee support, compliance, and HRIS data accuracy. Coordinates with employees, managers, payroll, benefit carriers, brokers, third-party administrators, legal, and HR leadership. Maintains confidential records, conducts documented investigations, reconciles benefit accounts, supports onboarding and enrollment, monitors regulatory requirements, and recommends process improvements.

Supports transportation and workplace safety programs across an assigned region. Responsibilities include driver coaching and training, terminal and field assessments, accident and injury response, DOT and FMCSA compliance, roadside inspection follow-up, corrective-action tracking, safety reporting, trend analysis, and incident investigations. The role coordinates with operations, maintenance, compliance, risk, HR, claims, and terminal leadership, conducts ride-alongs and observations, maintains audit-ready records, and provides rotational after-hours emergency support.

Plans and delivers onboarding and orientation for company drivers, owner-operators, and fleet owners. Coordinates training, documentation, road tests, equipment evaluations, schedules, and compliance requirements. Verifies driver readiness and system completion in Motive, Tenstreet, Paycom, and related platforms. Maintains records, prepares reports, communicates with multiple departments, supports driver engagement, and escalates safety or operational concerns while ensuring DOT, FMCSA, and company standards are met.

Supports regional transportation and workplace safety programs through driver coaching, safety training, field observations, terminal assessments, incident investigations, DOT/FMCSA compliance, corrective-action tracking, and safety trend analysis. Responds to accidents and injuries, maintains audit-ready records, coordinates with operations and compliance teams, and provides on-call support for serious incidents. Frequent travel to terminals, customer sites, roadside locations, and other operational environments is required.

Supports financial reporting for multiple entities by maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, processing banking transactions, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close. The role researches accounting discrepancies, supports audits and CPA reporting, prepares spreadsheet reports, responds to financial inquiries, and recommends process and reconciliation improvements. It partners with the Controller and may coordinate accounts payable and receivable activities.

Provide administrative support to compliance managers for trucking operations: track expirations, audit road and fuel tax, manage ELD issuance and tracking, handle title work, invoicing, PPE inventory, maintain equipment/driver files, perform audits and follow-ups, use TMW and Motive, and interact professionally with drivers, customers, and carriers.

Maintain general ledger and subledgers for multiple entities, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports for month- and year-end close. Review statements, research accounts, assist audits, process daily banking, recommend process improvements and automate reconciliations, and respond to accounting inquiries while meeting reporting deadlines.
