Leads complex U.S. Government and strategic customer proposal efforts from opportunity intake through submission. Owns proposal operations, compliance, schedules, reviews, quality controls, content repositories, reporting, and process improvement. Partners cross-functionally with business development, capture, engineering, pricing, contracts, legal, finance, and security teams. Manages and develops proposal and pricing specialists, supports responsible AI adoption, and safeguards sensitive and export-controlled information.

Coordinates industry, tradeshow, regional, and community events; manages schedules, logistics, vendors, event materials, booth presentation, messaging alignment, and post-event analytics. Partners with marketing and sales teams to measure outcomes, report ROI, and maintain purchasing and accounting discipline. Requires 10% travel.

Leads the scientific strategy and experimental direction for quantum RF systems. Owns physics architecture, performance models, experimental design, data analysis, validation, and scientific risk management. Provides hands-on technical leadership, mentors and manages the science team, and collaborates with engineering on system requirements and designs. Supports roadmaps, proposals, customer engagement, publications, IP development, and technical decisions while representing scientific credibility to stakeholders.

Supports federal government affairs strategy across congressional and agency engagement, appropriations, authorization, policy analysis, stakeholder mapping, and executive briefings. Monitors legislation, budgets, regulations, and hearings; develops policy materials and engagement plans; coordinates government meetings, industry coalitions, consultants, and internal technical teams; and supports lobbying, compliance, and funding efforts related to quantum technology, national security, space, energy, and critical infrastructure.

Leads direct and indirect procurement for company operations and government contracts. Oversees sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, purchase orders, supplier performance, procurement documentation, supplier risk, and FAR/DFARS compliance. Partners with program management, finance, contracts, legal, quality, engineering, and operations while developing the procurement team. Responsibilities include market research, cost analysis, savings initiatives, audit readiness, internal controls, and subcontractor management.

Leads engineering delivery for quantum RF systems from early R&D through productization. Owns architecture, requirements, design trade-offs, verification, integration, documentation, manufacturability, reliability, and deployment readiness. Coordinates multidisciplinary hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, optical, systems, and verification teams while partnering with physics, project management, suppliers, and customers. Supports technical roadmaps and ensures robust, market-ready products are developed across the full lifecycle.

Develop and own production software controlling and calibrating neutral-atom quantum computers. Build backend services, control frameworks, scientific data pipelines, CI/CD systems, and containerized deployments. Debug the full control stack from embedded kernels through distributed services, collaborate closely with physicists and hardware engineers, and create tooling for experiments, real-time image analysis, and object detection.

Qualify, assess, audit, and monitor suppliers for quality-system capability, technical competence, capacity, delivery, and risk. Manage supplier nonconformances, material review, root-cause analysis, CAPA, SCARs, quality plans, first-article inspections, traceability, and objective quality records. Interpret engineering documentation and ensure compliance with Government and defense contract requirements, including FAR Part 46. Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, program management, and customers.

Leads global software development and serves as technical lead for quantum sensing products. Develops and productizes React/Next.js frontends and Python FastAPI backends integrating with embedded hardware, Rust middleware, and device-control systems. Responsibilities include architecture, code reviews, testing, documentation, CI/CD, Jira and sprint management, team coordination, and transitioning prototypes into production-ready systems.

Design and integrate precision mechanical infrastructure for quantum gravity gradiometers deployed in laboratory, terrestrial, and space environments. Lead structural, thermal, vibration, shock, tolerance, and environmental analyses; integrate optical, electrical, vacuum, thermal, fiber, cable, and spacecraft interfaces; manage suppliers and product lifecycle reviews; support testing, risk resolution, reliability, and manufacturing readiness. Present technical decisions to customers and leadership while mentoring junior engineers.

Develop scalable, high-performance RTL and embedded processing systems for quantum computing applications. Collaborate with physicists and multidisciplinary engineering teams, architect processing chains, build analytical models, and tune and troubleshoot systems in laboratory environments. Apply software engineering practices including testing, version control, CI, static analysis, automated builds, documentation, and code reviews. The role may also lead small technical teams or projects.

Leads the engineering operating system for complex quantum hardware and firmware products from concept through manufacturing transition. Establishes lifecycle processes, technical gate reviews, quality systems, AS9100 readiness, configuration and document control, engineering tools, laboratory operations, equipment planning, technical-data security, and cross-functional manufacturing-transition practices. Builds and manages Engineering Operations across quality, configuration management, document control, and laboratory functions while scaling consistent practices internationally.

Develop modular scientific software platforms integrating models, data, simulations, and engineering workflows for quantum systems. Build MBSE tools, APIs, data models, visualizations, and orchestration capabilities; create HPC- and GPU-enabled simulations, optimization, digital twins, and machine-learning workflows. Collaborate with multidisciplinary scientists and engineers to validate models, improve manufacturability, and deliver maintainable production software using rigorous engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.

Lead the mechanical systems IPT for quantum gravity gradiometer hardware, driving requirements closure, design trades, CAD, analysis, drawings, procurement readiness, assembly, and testing. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers while ensuring alignment, vacuum, thermal, vibration, cleanliness, and integration requirements are met. Facilitate design and manufacturing reviews, manage risks and configuration control, mentor engineers, and provide schedule and cost inputs.

Develop and execute test strategies for atomic clock QRF systems, lead end-of-line testing, build optical and electrical test benches, perform reliability and compliance validation, support board bring-up and embedded debugging, and automate testing with Python. The role also involves operating laboratory equipment, analyzing and visualizing test data, and collaborating with hardware, firmware, and software teams from prototype through production.

Own the RF and electromagnetics discipline for quantum radio-frequency sensing systems. Design, simulate, integrate, calibrate, characterize, and troubleshoot RF structures, signal chains, sensor interfaces, and controlled test environments. Define requirements, performance budgets, measurements, verification methods, and acceptance criteria. Develop test automation and data analysis tools, reconcile models with laboratory results, and collaborate across physics, hardware, software, manufacturing, and technician teams to transition prototypes into repeatable systems.

Designs, simulates, integrates, calibrates, and verifies broadband RF hardware and electromagnetic test environments for quantum sensors. Responsibilities include developing signal chains, RF structures, measurement systems, performance budgets, automation, and calibration methods; troubleshooting hardware; analyzing laboratory data; and collaborating across physics, electrical, optical-mechanical, embedded, software, manufacturing, and technician teams. The role also documents designs and verification results and supports prototype-to-production transfer.

Supports compliant, compelling cost proposals for commercial and U.S. Government R&D solicitations. Collaborates with proposal managers, system managers, subject matter experts, contracts, quality, procurement, and other departments to prepare comprehensive cost proposals and government-compliant cost volumes. Requires strong attention to detail, organization, stakeholder relationship-building, proposal pricing expertise, and flexibility to meet government deadlines.

Manage a portfolio of complex quantum software and computing projects as a cohesive program. Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams and resources, managing schedules, budgets, costs, risks, subcontractors, staffing, deliverables, and communications. The role supports proposals and contracts, develops project plans, tracks milestones, manages scope and change, engages technical leaders, contributes to forecasts and roadmaps, and represents the company to external stakeholders. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Leads company-wide FP&A, including annual planning, quarterly forecasting, long-range modeling, management and Board reporting, performance analysis, strategic finance, resource allocation, and cash planning. Partners with executives and business leaders to develop actionable financial insights, support capital allocation and M&A, improve forecasting processes, and establish scalable FP&A infrastructure for a growing public technology company.
