Designs and owns precision opto-mechanical subsystems for scalable neutral-atom quantum computing hardware. Responsibilities include mechanical design, optical integration, tolerance and error budgeting, FEA, stability and vibration analysis, laboratory validation, design-for-manufacturing, root-cause investigations, and transition from research prototypes to scalable production hardware. The role collaborates with physicists and cross-functional engineers while providing technical leadership and mentorship.

Conduct quantum software R&D focused on quantum compilation and algorithms; develop and optimize software for the Superstaq cloud platform; collaborate with physicists and engineers; support customers; contribute to proposals and global programs; publish research and present findings; and apply quantum algorithms to real-world problems.

The Quantum Software Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing quantum error correction protocols, collaborating with teams to enhance quantum system reliability and scalability.
