The Director of Development leads fundraising efforts by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospective donors. The role collaborates with agency leadership and the development team to execute fundraising initiatives, manage donor and solicitation records, and apply fundraising best practices. Responsibilities require strong communication, organization, collaboration, initiative, and attention to detail, with potential oversight of staff and involvement in major gifts, planned giving, and capital campaigns.

Manage media relations, advertising, brand and graphic design, and multimedia projects. Collaborate with Development and Community Education on communications and social content, liaise with contractors, attend events as needed, and support fundraising and awareness efforts for the nonprofit.
