Hubbard House seeks an experienced Marketing Coordinator to work with a dynamic, professional team focused on communications, fundraising, and raising awareness of Hubbard House.
Working closely with the Development and Community Education Departments, the Marketing Coordinator oversees and implements several key areas of Hubbard House’s communications strategy. The Marketing Coordinator specifically deals with media relations, advertising, brand design, graphic design, and multi-media projects. The Marketing Coordinator also collaborates with other team members on social media content, as designated, and liaises with contract/specialized support in defined areas.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field (equivalent experience considered). Three years of experience in communications, media relations, or marketing preferred. Experience with Canva and the Adobe Creative suite is preferred. This position is in-person and not remote eligible. The schedule is primarily weekday business hours, however the Marketing Coordinator must be flexible to occasionally work evenings and weekends to attend events, media engagements, etc.
The position requires a clear communicator, both verbal and written, and someone with high standards around work ethic, collaboration, organization and detail.
Hubbard House was founded as the first domestic violence shelter in Florida and is the certified domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties in Northeast Florida. Hubbard House has nearly 50 years of experience serving victims of domestic violence through residential and outreach programs. With an annual operating budget of $10 million, Hubbard House serves approximately 5,000 women, children and men annually.

Requirements
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: sexual assault or domestic violence programs. Must be able to read, write and speak English; bi-lingual capabilities a plus.
A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required. Vehicle insurance must be maintained. Must meet eligibility requirements for Hubbard House, Inc. vehicle insurance coverage.
Due to the serious nature of the Hubbard House mission, must successfully clear background screening: 1) a level-2 background screening which includes a criminal background check through the Department of Family and Children (DCF), Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and the National Sex Offender Registry (at a minimum); 2) a motor vehicle report (MVR) is also run against the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV); and 3) a drug, alcohol, and TB screening.. Must be able to produce proof of eligibility to work in the United States (E-Verify).
This is an onsite position.

Salary Description
Starting at $23.00 per hour; commensurate with experience
Skills Required
