Design, program, and maintain PLC-based control systems and HMIs for automated drilling equipment. Support product development, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field service to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

Design and document PLC-based electrical control cabinets and power electronics. Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs; integrate Siemens PLCs; collaborate with cross-functional teams; support testing, FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and lifecycle activities to ensure compliant, reliable systems.

Supports the Engineering Technical Services team with finite element analysis using Ansys, including model setup, meshing, boundary conditions, solver execution, and results evaluation. Analyzes engineering and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and evaluates AI-enabled tools for engineering workflows. The intern learns FEA, data-driven process improvement, and responsible AI application while collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams.

Supports AI-enabled initiatives, engineering analysis, service-tool development, dashboards, analytics, automated workflows, and service-process improvements. The intern will prepare and review data, analyze equipment and service performance, investigate recurring issues, document technical knowledge, and collaborate with engineering, technology, operations, service centers, and field teams. The role also provides experience with automation, analytics, AI-enabled workflows, and continuous improvement.

Supports the engineering team in designing, documenting, integrating, and testing electrical control systems for drilling equipment. Responsibilities include control cabinet and wiring diagram design, PLC integration, component selection, lab testing, troubleshooting, validation, test data analysis, and technical reporting. The intern collaborates with mechanical, software, commissioning, and senior engineering teams on cross-functional projects.

Supports global services efficiency initiatives, customer experience programs, account structure configuration, and process automation. The intern helps improve service offerings, configure service applications, support business metrics, and collaborate across functions. Candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.

Supports the mechanical engineering team with pressure vessel calculations using ASME codes, engineering drawings, bills of materials, design reviews, laboratory testing, regression analysis, and test automation. The intern collaborates across functions, develops engineering templates, schedules and conducts equipment tests, and gains practical experience in pressure vessel design, testing, and automation.

Supports software development, testing, deployment, documentation, troubleshooting, and lab activities for drilling and industrial control platforms. The intern writes and debugs code, creates unit and integration tests, participates in Agile ceremonies, manages backlog tasks, assists with root-cause analysis, and collaborates with electrical, controls, and hardware engineers in a cross-functional environment.

Analyze project financial performance, costs, revenues, margins, risks, and variances. Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and revenue recognition. Establish projects and financial structures in SAP while supporting process improvements, best practices, and compliance with accounting policies.

Develop complete drilling rig package concepts and system solutions from tender through project delivery. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and suppliers, support customer meetings and technical clarifications, lead overall system concepts, contribute to bids and risk evaluations, and ensure solutions meet customer requirements. The role bridges engineering, customer engagement, and commercial processes while supporting the transition from tendering to project execution.

Supports U.S. and international tax compliance, ASC 740 tax provision calculations, tax planning, audits, tax research, account reconciliations, and special projects. The role analyzes deferred taxes and uncertain tax positions, coordinates with external advisors, monitors tax law changes, and maintains tax accounting records and SOX controls. It requires collaboration across finance and business functions within a global organization.

Provide day-to-day IT service desk support (email, voice, chat, remote, in-person). Troubleshoot applications, hardware, and network issues; maintain documentation and asset inventory; work with cross-functional IT teams and suppliers; follow ticketing, escalation, and incident processes; contribute ideas and learn new technologies, including AI tools.

Serve as the technical bridge between engineering, sales, and customers. Support tenders, quotations, product documentation, technical clarifications, project start-up, innovation, and maintain product libraries. Provide technical advice to account managers and help develop commercial solutions and cost estimates for drilling and related equipment.

Support, maintain, and enhance Oracle FCCS and related EPM cloud tools. Manage metadata, data integrations, consolidation logic, reporting, user provisioning, and troubleshoot S4 HANA-to-FCCS integrations. Participate in testing (UAT/regression) and collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to support financial close, intercompany eliminations, and reporting compliance.

Design, develop, test, and support PTC Windchill and ThingWorx Navigate customizations and applications. Implement Windchill workflows, APIs, and integrations with SAP/Active Directory. Participate in requirements, architecture, CI/CD/DevOps, Agile teams, documentation, troubleshooting, and provide global/off-hour support.

Lead design, analysis, and validation of surface and subsea drill-through components (BOPs, risers, connectors). Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional design and analysis, ensure compliance with API/ASME standards, interface with customers, manage project execution, and drive risk mitigation and lessons-learned.

Design, develop, and implement control system software and HMI solutions for industrial drilling equipment. Integrate with existing products, maintain documentation, support aftermarket, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable automation solutions.
