Own regional strategy and tactics for HERE's Japan product portfolio. Define investment priorities, drive market requirements and product roadmap, lead go-to-market, partnerships, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with global teams, support product lifecycle improvements, and represent HERE at external events.

Design, build, and operate end-to-end MLOps infrastructure and pipelines for training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining. Own model-serving for batch and real-time workloads, implement CI/CD, containerized orchestration, model/data versioning, observability, and drift detection. Optimize GPU/compute utilization, enable reproducible research-to-production workflows, and evaluate emerging MLOps tools while partnering with researchers and platform teams.

Ensure production quality, monitoring, testing, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions.

Lead design and deployment of machine learning and analytics solutions for global-scale map-making. Build and test predictive and statistical models, drive process automation on Big Data infrastructure, mentor data science teams, and collaborate with researchers, developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable map-related ML systems.

Lead technical design and build production-grade agentic AI systems for logistics, including LLM-based agents, RAG pipelines, and HERE API integrations. Own end-to-end delivery from prototyping to production, write high-quality Python/TypeScript code, design distributed geospatial systems, improve reliability and observability, and collaborate with product and domain experts to operationalize scalable AI solutions.

Lead works council and employee representation matters with a primary focus on Germany. Advise stakeholders on consultation, manage processes and documentation, facilitate meetings, resolve workplace issues, coach team members, and collaborate with legal and cross-functional partners to ensure compliant rollout of policies and communications across Europe and globally.
