Manage and develop shop floor supervisors, oversee labor/equipment resources, logistics, inventory control, and recommend capacity adjustments. Implement manufacturing methodologies, support HR activities, and design and execute OSHA-compliant safety programs and training.

Finish and pack vehicle bumpers: load/unload paint line, polish, wrap, box and band for shipping. Perform inspections and quality checks, report production data, keep work areas safe and clean, follow safety practices, and perform other duties as directed.

Support weld/fab processes by troubleshooting, isolating problems, and implementing solutions. Provide backup to paint, assembly, and machining. Apply gauging, fixtures, and tooling knowledge to improve throughput and quality, maintain part programs, evaluate and repair tooling/fixturing, and support production associates.

Oversee HR at a Mitchell, SD manufacturing facility including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, benefits administration, safety and workers' compensation, ISO HR procedures, and HR recordkeeping. Serve on plant management team and promote a non-union, participative workplace.

Develop, implement, and maintain safe, ergonomic, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. Lead continuous improvement, support product design for manufacturability, participate in SPPD/APQP, aid production and quality in daily issues, and support TS16949 certification and customer resolutions.

Lead and manage SPPD and Current Products teams to deliver new product launches and product changes. Develop project timelines, capital requests and budgets, manage SOP4.4K process deliverables, track program/QOS metrics, coordinate cross-functional and customer communications, and ensure manufacturing and ROI alignment. Facilitate cost models and launch plans; interface with suppliers and stakeholders; travel as required.

Design, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes for fabrication, machining, and assembly. Lead continuous improvement, support product launch (APQP, SPPD), collaborate with product development for manufacturability, resolve customer/production issues, and support quality/TS16949 initiatives.

Co-lead intern/Co-Op, safety, and ISO teams; travel to plants up to 25% and participate in corporate HR projects.

Run VA/VE workshops to identify cost and weight reductions, optimize plant processes, investigate alternative designs, manage technical project aspects, coordinate design and testing with suppliers and customers, validate and sign-off designs, ensure production readiness and safety.

Lead and supervise a team developing axle, suspension, and brake electronic control systems for commercial vehicles. Oversee ECU programming, system design, SIL/HIL validation, DFMEA, hardware/software integration, calibration, and standards compliance (ISO 26262, SAE). Drive employee development, process improvement, and act as technical liaison for controls strategy and sourcing decisions.

Support and improve machining and welding shop-floor processes, develop operator work instructions, participate on product launch teams, reduce setup/changeover times, implement continuous improvement and lean initiatives, validate work routers, and assist with capital planning and manufacturing capability expansion.
