Designs, programs, commissions, validates, monitors, and troubleshoots electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems across chemical processing facilities. Responsibilities include PLC/HMI programming, electrical schematics, panel layouts, process and power systems design, cost estimating, contractor management, project coordination, technician training, and root-cause problem solving. The role supports new and existing facilities, ensures compliance with codes and specifications, and may require non-traditional work hours and up to 20% travel.

Arrange freight, source carriers, dispatch trucks, and schedule distribution services to ensure timely deliveries. Manage carrier relationships, freight claims, vendor holds, accruals, and payment accuracy. Support load building, driver equipment repairs, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional issue resolution. Use JD Edwards, ELD, Fleetio, and CAPA systems while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Operates and monitors manual and automated chemical production processes, adjusts process variables, handles and transfers chemical materials, records operating and quality data, performs minor equipment maintenance, and follows SOPs and environmental, health, and safety requirements. Maintains housekeeping standards, operates industrial forklifts, uses required PPE, and works in physically demanding industrial conditions.

Supports quality assurance programs covering food, product, and facility safety; maintains SOPs and technical records; conducts internal audits; assists with training, batch and cleaning record review, line clearances, product testing, investigations, and material disposition. The role also supports raw material certificate review, product release, inventory quality oversight, and preparation for customer and third-party audits in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Design electrical and instrumentation systems for water treatment equipment: produce CAD panel and wiring drawings, select hardware, perform QA and wet-cycle testing, assist PLC/HMI programming, support installations/startups, prepare documentation, and liaise with customers and production.

Supports pharmaceutical quality operations by managing regulated documentation, conducting line clearances and inspections, reviewing batch records for cGMP compliance, testing and releasing raw materials and finished products, generating COAs, and investigating deviations and nonconformances. The role also helps implement process improvements, maintain the Quality Management System, and coordinate product qualification activities.

Provide leadership in workplace safety by identifying and correcting hazards, conducting site assessments, managing safety training and documentation, coordinating medical surveillance and PPE procurement, handling regulatory reporting (OSHA 300), supporting incident investigations, and assisting emergency response programs and drills.

Designs and reviews electrical/control system designs for products, rentals, and surplus equipment. Performs PLC programming, HMI development, cabinet/wiring design, hardware selection, CAD work, budgeting, and customer negotiations. Supports startup, training, technical integration, proposals, and mentors junior staff.

Coordinate and manage bids/RFPs end-to-end, analyze pricing and market trends, support sales and client engagement, prepare reports, and implement pricing changes with internal stakeholders to maximize contract opportunities.

Provide technical in-house sales support for water treatment equipment and projects: process design, equipment selection, costing, proposals, contract review, vendor quotes, site reviews, and handoff to operations for project execution.

Manage customer quality and regulatory requests, provide documentation via internal systems and TraceGains, maintain corporate regulatory statements, manage Kosher/Halal certifications, advise on FDA food regulations (21 CFR Part 117), support product registrations, improve the quality management system, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely compliance.

Lead strategic sales growth into the municipal water and wastewater market by developing relationships with utilities, engineers, contractors, and partners; generate proposals and bids; coordinate with engineering, operations, and suppliers; manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and commercialization of new technology; represent company at events and drive long-term account development.

Operate and monitor continuous and batch chemical processes, handle and transfer chemical materials, complete required production and compliance paperwork, perform minor equipment maintenance, follow SOPs and safety regulations, operate forklifts, and participate in required EHS training and emergency response duties.
